Ishan Alex is a great host! The dorm was comfortable, well furnished with locks. Breakfast was great overlooking Nuwara elya. My friend got sick, and he arranged for a doctor.. and one of the mirrors of the tuktuk broke during my stay and he went to get a replacement for me. Thank you for this :) Located a bit outside of the city, but worth the walk/tuktuk ride.

I had a brilliant stay. The staff are all so kind and welcoming - both over WhatsApp (before arrival and during my stay) and in person. Organised taxis/tuk tuks for me, and gave me lots of advice about what to do in the area. They would arrange tours of the tea plantations/waterfalls for you, if you wanted. The location is stunning with incredible views of the town (great spot for sunrise) and very quiet and peaceful - and only a short and cheap ride into the town. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing.

A really comfy place in Nuwara Elia, perfect to relax and near the city to enjoy the Sri Lankan energy. The staff is really nice, always ready to help you with any request. Excellent breakfast.

Fantastic place!!! Immersed in a tea plantation, the hostel is strategically placed on a hill just above the city and offers incredible views (weather permitting). Rooms and bathroom are spotless, bed are comfy, food is tasty. Friendly and relaxing atmosphere and last but not least a stellar staff!!! Always ready to accommodate the guest needs, answer all his/her questions and help in organising transport/tours if wanted (they will not push you to buy any "tour package"!). It is lovely to chat with them, they really make you feel at home

As the shower, as in most Sri Lankan bathrooms is very close to the toilet, the toilet is almost always wet.

The dorm was neat, as were the beds, etc. The place opened only a year ago and was very nice. The owner is easily accessible and always eager for some feedback and a chat. The place also has a lovely view on the city and the surrounding mountains.

Despite Nuwara Eliya's cold climate, a fan would be a great addition whenever possible, since the window cannot be left open because insects are prone to getting in.

The hotel is located on a mountain. The view of the tea plantations and the town of Nuwara Eliya captured my heart. The place is very quiet and is a great place to relax after a long day going around Nuwara Eliya. Besides the amazing breakfast, the people are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was extremely pleasant and supportive. We stayed in the hostel room. It was quite comfortable, and everything was ideal for us.If you are an elderly person travelling, you should avoid booking the hostel room because it contains bunk beds, although there are lots of alternative rooms to select from. I'm hoping to come back again.Highly recommended place 👌 ..

There weren’t many people staying there so if you’re solo travelling and want to meet people it would be hard here. Also there was music playing outside every night (might’ve been the (upstairs) neighbours).

Kind staff that are willing to help you in any way they can. Choice between Sri Lankan and European breakfast. I had the Sri Lankan one and it was nice. Comfortable beds. Nice location between the tea fields.

The only downside(for some)- Since the place is on way to Single Tree Mountain, some vehicles do pass during the day. So you may get some noise only during the day but it's not much. It will be like 1 or 2 vehicles every hour or so.

First of all, the location of this hotel is top class. I mean you can't get a better view of the whole town anywhere else. It's right in middle of tea farms. Even if you don't want to do anything throughout the day, you can just sit at the hotel, enjoy the view and relax. Single tree view point is just 20-25 mins walk from here. The lake and the city center is also just 1.5km from here. The place is run by 2 friends who are a great hosts. If you have time, do spend some time talking with them. For food, you have Pizza Hut, super market and couple of food trucks at 10 min walk. If you are planning to go to Horton's National Park, then the owners can arrange the tuk tuk or taxi(whatever you need). It's better if you start early around 5a.m

I stayed in the dorm bed. As a solo backpacker, staying here was a wonderful escape from the usual busy hostel life. We were treated just as lovely as the hotel guests, enjoyed the views and the breakfast. Everyone was really friendly and really helped us out with our activities. It’s obviously not central in the town but I didn’t mind the 30 min walk down. I would recommend highly if you want something more quiet for once, which for me Nuwara Eliya was the perfect opportunity anyway! The value for money was amazing.

Only one bathroom for dorms, so it gets dirty, but wasn't that bad.

Nice place to stay a day or two. Beds and breakfast is good, and its very cheap accomodation, so lots af value for money.
