Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

This place is stunning, with a lovely setting amongst the jungle. The manager is a fantastic host and cook, and we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner while here. We stayed in the more basic room which was simple but nice. If you can afford to, we recommend booking one of the more deluxe rooms to make the most of your stay! The location is fairly remote, making it the perfect place to unwind, rather than a base for sight seeing (in our opinion)😊

What made our experience truly exceptional was the hospitality. A special thank you to Christian, who made us feel so welcome and cared for — he truly made us feel special. The entire atmosphere is one of relaxed luxury: beautiful design, modern and tasteful aesthetics, and delicious food that exceeded our expectations. It’s one of those rare places where you feel pampered and at peace at the same time. If you're looking for a place in Sri Lanka where nature meets style, and genuine care is at the heart of everything — this is it. We will absolutely be back and recommend it without hesitation!

PolandBreathtaking views from the property, especially from the Deluxe apartment. Interior design is just perfect. It has all necessary facilities. Apartment was very clean. Overall it is not just a place to stay, it is a whole experience that we will never forget. I wish we could stay longer. The owner and his family extremely kind! Everything was just perfect. You HAVE TO stay at Paradise Itzu when in Sri Lanka.

The architecture is such a nice implementation of tropical brutalism and the beautiful property is almost just a backdrop for the jungle location and lovely service. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, chef Sarath’s long experience comes through in his amazing food, and the location is outside the range of traffic of central Kandy. Meal packages are definitely worth the extra; great portions and options (Sri Lankan v.s western) and each meal is unique. We availed a whole Kandy itinerary in favor of enjoying Paradise Itzu and its surrounding area for longer. Also were lucky to have our stay coincide with the owner Krishan being there. He helped us navigate the area and taught us how to play Carrom, even though we still suck lol (+ had the nicest bathrooms we saw during our whole stay in Sri Lanka.)

United StatesHonestly nothing, The internet was spotty, the caretaker tried to fix it - it wasnt a big deal since I had data on my phone but just slightly inconvienient for my parents since they did not.
The service was beyond exceptional, the place is so beautifully and tastefully done. The food the chef prepared was one of the best I’ve had in Srilanka! The staff was friendly, and so family like.
