Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicThe hot water was not working.
The property was very nice and the position of the place was amazing. Very close to dunes. The weather was very windy but despite this we were able to sleep very well during the night. I recommend this accomodation to everyone if you are trying to find anything close to the dessert.

GermanyThis magical place is situated apart from all other luxury camps, feeling authentic and close to local life. It beautifully sits between dunes which you can walk and explore by yourself in early morning sunrise moments or for the most incredible sunset. It’s almost you’re walking in your own garden of sand dunes waiting for you to feel the beauty and freedom right next to where you can then fall asleep to cozy dreams under the starlit sky. The huts are basic but clean and comfortable, which is all you need since you spend your times outside. The common area terrace is a place where you can read your book, have morning sun breakfast or dine with fellow travelers. The staff really gives you a safe and welcoming time, around delicious Tajines, Breakfast Omelettes on private tables between sand dunes and caravans, and bonfires with tea and music. I dearly recommend this wonderful place and will surely come back - this time on the motorbike.

NetherlandsThe camp is 7 km of the main road which I had not realized when I booked (not very clear as the location pin on booking is not correct in my opinion, the location according to my GPS was in the desert halfway between Tagounite and M'hamid) . Salah will come and meet you with his 4*4 or sent his staff to help you get there, when you leave the main road. Otherwise you have to drive through stoney desert which is very difficult without a guide or a good map.
The location is truly exceptional, Salah and his staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved lounging, reading and exploring the surroundings by foot. We came for the Taragalte festival. It is about 40 min drive to get there but we booked Salah's 4*4 and he came with us, which was very helpful.

NorwayReally great service! Our host made sure to make this an experience! We opted to drive quad in the sand dunes north of M’Hamid and it was a very cool experience. Also the 4x4 drive with our host made it feel like Dakar rally over the desert. The food was excellent and it was nice and intimate dinner with the others staying at the place. Overall great experience which I recommend everyone :)

United StatesAs two female travellers visiting off season, we were the only guests in the place. The guys working there were very helpful and friendly and we really can't fault them at all but if that situation might make you feel uncomfortable, maybe think twice. In larger groups or in season I imagine this wouldn't be an issue. It's not the easiest to get to. Guests are sometimes picked up in a 4x4. We were in an SUB and we drove with one of the staff members in the car. We managed and the car was fine but worth considering if you're a less confident driver. I think WiFi is advertised but was not available at the time.
The location is very beautiful and remote. Huts right in the dunes with a great fire at night time and very attentive staff to make sure we had enough blankets and tea to keep us warm. Many thanks!
