Service, including service at reception was first class. They were always very helpful and provided guidance both on the current local area and the next area we were planning to visit. Breakfast was a good spread of things, all generally fresh. We also had dinner there and again service was good and careful. Location was within walking distance of the National Park, ensuring that we had good access to walks and the lake.

Instruction on activities was minimal we ended up down the Tara Canyon for rafting with no cash having not been told we had to pay cash on day. Rafting company wasn’t great. Previous guests food was in freezer compartment.

Great location for Black Lake and town with 2-3 good restaurants and easy to book activities Jeep tour and buggy trip were great.

Service beyond imagination at the soa hotel I have to share with you a crazy experience we had at the sos hotel! We arrived tired and exhausted in the evening, after we had a flat tire on the way. We had already imagined all the nightmares of looking for a tire shop late at night, but then something amazing happened. The reception representative, Mr. Zarko, simply went out of his way! He not only helped us find a place that would take care of the problem quickly, but even offered to meet us there to make sure we received decent service at a fair price. This is not only good service, it is service beyond all expectations. This help, care and dedication make this hotel a place that I highly recommend, and we will definitely return there. It’s an odd location, about a mile from the town and the same from the lake/national park. The ambience is odd ( there’s a creepy sad looking abandoned big hotel immediately opposite) and the evening food choice was limited and heavily traditional with not a lot of healthy choices..

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke good English, suite was big, comfy and clean .. bed was so big there was not much space in the room. The breakfast choice was very good.

We liked the location, near the Black Lake path, not far from a big store and a good restaurant. The hotel restaurant is good. There is a sauna. The staff is kind and helpful. We took a 2 bedrooms appartement. One of the bedrooms was very comfortable, the other was small. The kitchen lacked a lot: no pan, no coffee machine, not a salad bowl, not a cutting board and knife, no kitchen towel and dish soap and sponge…there were only 2 bar chairs for 4 persons and only 2 balcony chairs.

I received a warm welcome and an upgrade. Parking was easy and it was a short drive to the Black Lake. I enjoyed the sauna and steam room. Overall it was a great stay!

The staff was super nice. We got a free upgrade to a suit. They tended to every issue, the sauna and steam bath were very nice, breakfast was great, restaurant for dinner was amazing with good prices. Water temperature and water pressure might be a bit low for those who like it hot and high pressure. Other than that- perfect!

Everything about this boutique hotel is stunning! Greeting at the front desk, availability of staff, warmness of the hotel and its amenities, offerings.... from drinks, meals, breakfast (which is a separate story of abundance and delicious home made choices), spa and sauna and massage.... My visit was during not typical season, begging of March, with poor weather conditions in Zabljak, of rainy and chilly days - but the hotel with its coziness made up for the weather. Room was spotlessly clean, warm, with comfortable bed.

The breakfast is not what it seems, on the first day we’ve had just 2 different choices where on the second day there was a buffet with lots of choices. A bit hard for the people that can’t eat everything and have restrictions.

The location is amazing, so close to everything important. The staff is great!! The receptionists and the girl doing the massages are a true gem!
