No wifi is available in the hotel. It would be nice to have wifi and we recommend to the owners to provide wifi for their guests.

Nice bungalow and helpful staff (they helped e.g. with organizing a taxi to get to the port). Free water refilling station available. Breakfast is included and a beautiful beach and lots of restaurants are close by. Nice view from uphill (keep in mind that you have to walk a few meters uphill to get to the bungalows!)

The breakfast could be more varied, the food was a bit bland

It's at the top of the hill offering magnificent views of the island and sea. Host was very considerate to suggest rooms close to each other for our party of 4 guests instead of our original selection. Vibe was very nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Look, the hill exists but honestly it’s so worth the small 2-3 minute climb, especially with the relaxed view of the jungle and the pool to plunge into to cool off. Don’t let it sway you!

Loved this relaxing jungle getaway. The beds were super comfortable and the mosquito drapes made the room feel cozy and luxurious. The staff members were super helpful and lovely. The breakfast was really tasty.

The location was amazing on top of the hill even though a bit challenging to climb up. :).. It's in the forest and amazingly quiet. The room was spacious with very comfortable bed.

We liked the massive hill - really fun on a moped - less fun on foot. Just be aware to have transport or be prepared to walk! :)

Room was lovely - basic but with everything you needed. Looked like a pretty cabin. LOVED the balcony (as did the monkeys!). Breakfast was basic but again had everything we wanted - good mix of food (loved the roti) and the banana cake is a nice touch. The manager? helped us when we had an issue with our moped - super helpful and kind.

the issues is im pregnant, so agak challenging utk i utk nak hike. tapi takda la tinggi sgt, atleast you will get nice scenery.

breakfast simple, makanan pun prepare yang local food, so me as malaysian memang no issues. plus, breakfast also sedap! and they will change every day for kuih kuih and desert.

Nothing but some minor improvement/additions can enhance - a ledge or shelf in the bathroom for toiletries - No wardrobe is fine with a functional clothes hanger stand. Good room size can accomodate a simple table top or bench for luggage. - Though not a big problem..shower spray not functioning or spraying well

Room fitting outs is basic but good understanding and attention to detail esp comfort n safety - safety railings beside steps leading to chalets - water points outside every chalets - adequate power points inside room - floor mats at entrance door n bathroom - clean bed linens n towels - retention and protection of trees on the site is a big plus!! Attracts many monkeys and hornbills!!..beffiting the resort's name. There may be some urbanised guests who complained of these wild life but then they should not stay here...

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is not suitable for children and elderly because it is high on the hill, many stairs to climb. It was very quiet and peaceful if you wanted to have a peace of mind. The breakfast provided also was okay but can improve.

Could do some improvements on the accessibility. The way of getting up to the hotel might be a little challenging and less friendly to the elderly.

It was a very pleasant stay. The staffs have been very friendly and checking in process was very accommodating. We were lucky to a free room upgrade with a balcony facing the forest.

The accommodation is in great condition, everything seems quite new. The guys at Utan are very friendly and always answer any question via WhatsApp! The uphill walk is quite steep but it's worth it if you like a more private kind of accommodation :) Coral Beach is not too far (7-8 minutes downhill). Beds are super comfy!

The stairs to the breakfast place, really have to work your way up and feel the burn in the legs. There was only one channel on the tv.

It’s literally in the forest, but I love it as it’s very quiet, can hear the birds chirping. And there were no kids around.

Nice view from the place. Very near to market and beach, walkable distance. Just need a little bit hiking, so not suitable for family with elderly. But perfect for youngster/friends gateaway. We don't rent car/motorcycle, so just walk up and down to the beach area.

The access to the location of the cabins are high on a slope that is steep. This was the only downside to our stay there. Best to carry backpacks if you plan to stay here and rent a high cc bike that can go uphill.

It's a rustic cabin in the woods experience for those who like it. Went with family and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was nice.
