Wi fi kept dropping on 1st floor

Great location in a quiet alley, just off the main tourist drag of Thamel.. Bed was really comfy - I slept like a baby. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast was sufficient to keep me going.

This is a wonderful guesthouse! Like an oasis in the middle of busy Thamel! With a small garden and lots of place to chill, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The location is super perfect for getting around and the people are super nice! Deepak picked me up from the airport and was most helpful in organising all other activities! Definitely coming back here!!!

My second home is surprisingly quiet and peaceful even though it is located in a central location of the bustling Thamel. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a cheap yet good place to stay in Kathmandu, my second home can be your choice.

The feeling of home, there is a garden at the entrance, which makes people feel happy. Open kitchen design. The breakfast is rich and nutritious and there are comfortable seats! The room is also clean and comfortable. The boss is very enthusiastic and helpful! I will come back again! Thank you everyone.

First IMPORTANT thing to know: the owner pressures everyone into giving a score of 10 before they leave!! Did it to my friend when she left her room one day before me, and he knew I had a very early flight because I've had paid for my stay earlier during day, but still I was almost shaken by loud repeated knocks on my door at 9 pm by him pretending to ask me if I wanted to join him for tea/coffee (funnily enough on my last night only) which I didn't, so then he tried to pressure me into giving a review of 10 on the spot at the doorstep of my room. To be fair it is a decent place (nothing more nothing less) in a great location, but never go knocking on your guests' doors asking for reviews again, and if you do, just drop the act and ask for it straight. It's probably a solid 7 or 8 max in general which is what I would've given , but after the cheeky disrespectful attempt I think 3 sums up my personal experience fairly.

Smelly bathroom with lots of mold, no hot water, blanket is comfortable but for summer time way to hot if you’re sleeping only with fan

Facilities outdated and seems a bit dirty although it is clean. For very few euros more, you find better hotels in Thamel.

The owner or manager explains which tours you can do with them in Nepal. We did a trekking tour with Santosh who accompanied us from Kathmandu and the whole trekking; recommend to go with Santosh. The hotel itself is in Thamel and in a quiet street without motos and cars. It has a small garden Room is cheap but facilities according to the low price.

When I arrived with a reservation I was immediately told my room was not available and that if I wanted to stay there I had to pay more. Since I didn’t want to pay more I was moved to a nearby hotel which was dirty (beds and sheets were dirty). The next day I was given the room I had originally reserved and that room was moldy and the wifi kept interrupting. So then I accepted to pay more for a better room and that one had some loud banging happening through the night. When I asked the manager about it he said it was ‘probably a party’ and then made move to another wing. The same noise happened there the next night albeit less loud. But this confirmed to me that it was not ‘a party’ but rather something mechanical that shakes the whole building. It’s an intermittent banging. Not music from a party. I was upset that the manager didn’t tell me the truth. And I didn’t think the reviews of this place so it justice. I would not recommend this hotel and I will never stay there again.
