I booked the double deluxe room and it was great. We had a little lounge area and our private toilet which was great. Awesome staff members. All were really nice and the roof top bar is great to enjoy a few drinks and have a nice view over the area

The free yoga on the roof was the worst yoga session I’ve ever attended. Very overcrowded. It’s worth going to just for a laugh if you can be bothered to wake up.

We had an upgrade which meant we got a massive room. We felt at home in yog hostel and the other guests were a good mix of people. We had some issues with the bathroom but the staff sorted it straight away. The receptionists and the cafe staff are really lovely, thanks for a wonderful stay!

One thing I'd recommend when staying here is to bring earplugs. In both rooms there was a level of noise/music. 1st room was under the pool table, rooftop bar area, 2nd room above the vegan cafe/restaurant.

We stayed on two separate occasions and in different buildings each time. We loved the second room 'Annapurna' as it gave generous space. Yog offers free yoga in the mornings. We loved being able to fill our drink bottles with hot or cold water.

The restaurant downstairs is okay, but isn’t great. The staff doesn’t seem very interested and the food outside on the street is way more tasty and for a better price!

Very nice staff, they really do all they can to make you feel at home. We even got a new and upgraded room, because our toilet didn’t work. We also really enjoyed the yoga classes and the mini-gym. It’s slightly outside of Thamel, so if you like small local food restaurants, you will find those just around the corner. And Thamel is still withing walking distance.

only thing was that the bedroom door didn’t close and had no lock so was a bit noisy and felt a bit less safe than if we could close it.

Beds are quite uncomfortable shared bathrooms are not often cleaned. Really noisy at night.

The rooftop bar is open to non-residents so when people leave the rooftop bar they walk down the stairs next to the rooms and are incredibly noisy. Which means you are constantly being woken up during the night. Many people complained. They really need to sort this out. There are very few toilets for the dorms. I had to wait many times. Plus the people outside the hostel use it. One evening I wanted to take a shower and saw a man come out of the ladies only bathroom outside the women's dorm. When I went in the whole bathroom stunk of smoke and I couldn't use it because I was choking.

The front desk staff are super kind and friendly. Especially Asmita. The room is comfortable- the beds feel very private because they have dividers. The hostel is cleaned regularly. The top floor restaurant has a spectacular view and delicious food. The free yoga and sound healing every day is wonderful. Especially with such a great price. The vibe is cool. I met so many nice people. Location is excellent.

I had absolutely amazing experience. The staff were friendly and positive. The location of the hostel is just in the centre of Thamel you can easily go anywhere. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend it to others 😊

Because of the restaurant on the rooftop, people come up and down and some of them make noise late at night.

The staff is always really helpful and friendly and the room was very cosy ! I asked for a room with a desk so I can work and they gave it to me straight away with no extra charge.

The toilet was smelly. Restaurant was a bit noisy at night. Fan was stuck at max speed and looked dangerously badly fixed to the ceiling so we couldn't really use it. No A/C.

Restaurant was really nice. Room was comfortable. Staff was really nice and helpful. Really good location next to Thamel but quiet area. Water refill station. Breakfast was nice and abundant.

I had headaches while using the hot shower, because water heater burns the gas into the shower room. there is no chimney or any kind of exhaust. the Kitchen could be cleaner.

Great hostel in Thamel. in a quiet nice ally close to everything. clean. the staff are the best. very polite and helpful. there is free Yoga every day. there is even a gym. hot showers and shared kitchen. there a vegan resturant and a bar as well.

Be great if there was a chill out area just to sit and read or chat not just the restaurant. We struggled with the loud dance/rap music ( and associated lyrics ) played at the roof top restaurant which spoilt the ambience and beauty of enjoying an evening meal and just doesn't match the vibe.

Great area. Away from Thamel main streets but with everything you need in a area that felt very local community. Good sized rooms. Very clean.
