Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceThe fact that I was charged one night due to the Doha airstrike. I informed the hotel as soon as my flight was diverted and kept them informed about the intinerary changes. I understand booking policies but this was such an unconventional situation that could have been better managed.
Great location. Very comfortable bed 😍 and amazing friendly staff. The rooftop is stunning and i had a great time during my stay.

New ZealandThe exposed ceiling meant that we could hear the water from next doors shower dripping down one of the pipes, was very noisy and made sleep difficult. Would have loved a brighter light option so that I could do my make up in the bathroom properly.
The shower head was a treat, the roof top bar was great of an evening and the staff were great to deal with.

I got a room upgrade, a drink voucher for each night and they made a lovely card and pastries on my arrival with happy birthday message. Room service was fast and delicious. Bed was extremely comfortable.

New ZealandNothing. There was a small hiccup on check in about the price, but understand that may have been due to poor communication with the hotel on the part of booking provider. The lady on reception dealt with it superbly, and even gave us two complimentary drink tickets for the inconvenience, which was unexpected.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. As indicated above everything met our expectations for a great weekend getaway. The hotel is very walkable to everything downtown including the waterfront area and ferry terminal. The restaurant was excellent, and the choice provided at breakfast of buffet or a la carte was very good. Loved the rooftop bar onsite. We made good use of the hotel's facilities and would definitely stay again.

We stayed with my elderly mum, plus our daughter. Had 3 rooms. The rooms were great. Our daughter was surprised to get a treat from hotel staff as it was her uni graduation. It was a great surprise and much appreciated. The car was always ready when needed. Staff were extra friendly to my elderly, often confused, mother. I am very grateful for this, as it was long weekend with a lot of travel for her. The young male concierge went over and beyond what was required, many thanks for your attentiveness and friendliness. Staff looked after flowers and a wheelchair until we arrived with no problems.
