How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The Radisson Blue Muscat hotel provided contact details for a rental vehicle on Friday morning and the vehicle arrived on time. The friendly hotel reception also facilitated the return of the vehicle, which basically saved the day for me.

The room set for 3 adults is big but the third bed is not good for an adult. You need to put the cushion of the couch under the bed (from the couch) to expect having a flat bed.

The hotel is right next to a highway exit & the pool is noisy beacause of that. The hotel isnt located near to many restaurants or sights.
Large family room on the 2nd floor with a view to the taxi parking spots Nice breakfast although a bit unorganised causing crowd on some places. One could sit outdoors as well. There's a really nice juice shop just behind the hotel.

Rooms furniture is getting quite old; could be refurbished.
Breakfast was one of the best we had in Muscat :) There were lots of restaurants in the surrounding but in the middle of big crossroads

Please go back to using Nespresso capsules for the expresso machines in the rooms - the ones at the moment are very weak and rather nasty tasting
Many times before Covid we’ve stayed at Radisson Blu Muscat and it hasn’t lost any of its charm. Still an excellent quality-price hotel.

several things to mention room furnitures was quite outdated and some concerns about the safety in the hotel it seem that everyone can easily enter in to hotel, there were no room card needed in the elevator to get to different flore, but maybe there is something what you don't see.
Over all we had a plesent stay in this hotel, reception was nice an friendly, room was enough big with all facility inside what you need, a kettle tee coffee water, room was cleaned every day, hotel has a nice outdoor pool, sport jym, breakfast was really good and plenty of chose.

Only minor things: - The room service could have been a bit more reliable - The water pressure of the shower was quite low
+ Very friendly and helpful staff + Breakfast offers everything one could need and there are many restaurants/supermarkets around for lunch & dinner (the smokey grill & chill in the hotel offers great Indian food) + The pool was great to relax from time to time + Good location to reach the mosque, the airport, the corniche, the sultan's palace and other sights by taxi + Fair price for what it offered

Its all good.
The hotel is well built and was once super glamorous. The entry, meals areas, shops pool all lovely. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable but showing a little age. The staff are very helpful and friendly.

The parking was pretty tight, especially during the night. I was a little worried about parking my rental in a tight spot. But it's Muscat, so it's kind of expected.

It feels like it's time for a refurb.... The hotel itself is quite dated and the pool, although nice, faces a highway. Needs something to screen the view/sound from the cars driving by.
The hotel is old however it has all the comforts needed for a short stay. Decent amenities including pool, pool bar, gym, restaurant and small spa. Friendly staff.
