No warm water in the double room I booked, so a little cold in the shower. Only constructive feedback

Staff super friendly, inviting & let you store your bags for as you need them for the day before departing. Buildings little cold, but that is just Cusco this time of year! A little walk from town but cracking views of the city & a very relaxing lounge area full of sofas and more

Window did not close all the way, so it got cold. We however had a small room heater. They do not pack breakfast for you if you leave before 5am for the tours unlike other hotels & hostels. Nobody at the hotel spoke english, but we got through with a translator.

Great view of the city. Very cheap room. Decent amenities for the price. Pretty clean and economical. Its about a 5 min drive from the main plaza, and uber costs about $2.

The common showers are annoying as between 9 pm and 4 am there will often be no water and if there is the pressure could be better. - Not ideal if you arrive back late from hiking. Be ready to pay in cash as their card reading machine doesn't work.

There is a big common area with a good view. Breakfast is simple, but easily upgradable with a palta from the market. Very affordable, be ready to practice your Spanish at the reception.

It can be a bit cold but fine for sleeping as they give you plenty of blankets. The staff's level of English is pretty low but my Spanish is awful and I got by.

It's well run, the rooms and social areas are cosy and well kept and the view really is incredible, it's a nice place to return to after a busy day or night in the city.

There is no heating in the property and it was quite cold during our stay (low single digits at night). The staff could only offer an extra blanket. Hot water was available intermittently so taking a shower is a bit of an adventure. Breakfast is only offered during set times - on the last day we left early and there was no option to get anything packed, even a piece of bread.

Clean modern facilities; nice city view from the common area. Tea/coffee/hot water available throughout the day. Location is OK, while not very central - it's still an easy walk down to areas of interest. It's on one of the major streets with several cheap bus options available for those who prefer to skip the walk up.

The mattress in our room (505) can use an update. It was in pretty bad condition. Everything else was great :)

Very attentive staff. Plenty of spaces to chill outside the room. Simple but good breakfast, perfect for the whole acclimating process. We booked Rainbow Mountain tour with them and it was an amazing experience!

    - property uses very high currency rate - rooms are very moist/cold all the time due to Cusco being cold city and no proper isolation - up hill location, so be prepared to walk

    - affordable - cleaning lady coming everyday, so the room/facilities are kept clean

The manager was very miserable, and did not make any effort to try to accommodate us on arrival. Although I sent an email requesting this, due to our unusual arrival. I could understand if the rooms were occupied, however, there were rooms that were available but he was very rigid and unhelpful. Also, I had to insist that we were provided with something to eat when we were leaving the hostel in the mornings to go on a trip. We paid for breakfast so expected a sandwich at least. To take away. But I had to make a fuss before he agreed to provide one roll with butter and Jam. There was no hand washing facilities. Everything had to be sent to the laundry and was not returned until after 8pm. However, I discovered a laundry just 2min away that did the laundry in 2hours.

The location was very good. The cleanliness was also very good. One staff member made an effort to be friendly, he was the cook and the bar attendant.

    - USD and soles rate is bad, would be better to pay in USD - WiFi can be unstable, depends on the floor - Some nights the electricity was cut off.

Hot drinks all day. There is a heater in the room. Bed and bathroom are clean and comfortable, the blankets are especially nice.

    - Some rooms have heater and some not. - The location requires some climbing.

They said they would only accept cash that day.

The hostel was easy to find. The staff was helpful. There are complimentary hot beverages available 24 hours a day. There is a large common area with a pool table, foosball, and TV. I found it to be quiet and peaceful. The room was small but very clean and had a small heater. The shower had the typical electric shower head to heat the water which is always a challenge but it was satisfactory. The breakfast is basic, a fried egg, bread, and something like juice. All and all a good value.

Came in my bathroom and there were ants everywhere including crawling on my toothbrush. Now ants can always be a problem so though this is not good, the part that I was upset with was their response of "ehh that happens" and when I pointed out to them where they were coming from and a simple solution to fix (a simple caulk job that would take 30 seconds) they did not fix. That is the unacceptable part.

    Amazing view of the city!

Great staff, good breakfast. Best spot for pick up going out to the Inca Trail - you will be last picked up and first dropped off. Nice affordable private rooms to be able to rearrange all your belongings before a trek!

The wifi didn't work the entire time I was there. I had to wait an hour for someone to open the door at checkin because there is nobody at reception in the afternoon unless you request the exact time you are arriving. I had to wait outside in the rain with my luggage because there is nobody working there in the day time and no other neighboring accomodation will open the door.

The beds were soft and the breakfast was good.

The staff doesn't allow to use kitchen, however the refrigerator is allowed to use. Having kitchen available would be a definitive plus.

This hostel is a more of a hotel than the hostel. It has private rooms, with private bathroom. It is very clean, and spacious, with a great view of the city, and fast internet. The breakfasts are good and the staff is friendly.

The water was very touchy, it was either too hot or too cold and the coverage from the shower head was not the best. Also there was no key for the front door, but there was always someone there to open it for us when we rang the bell.

Loved the facilities, they had a pool table and a Foosball table. They provided a heater in our room because it was very cold at night.

I booked a private room to sleep well before my trek but unfortunately there was some kind of party in the room above me. I let the reception know and they said it was a different building. I'm not sure if that's the case as it was literally above my room (303), but either way bear in mind the location of that room meant you heard a lot of sound. Normally I wouldn't mind, but it went on until 2am >_<

They let me stay on the sofa when I arrived really early, and leave my bag during my trek for free, which was really nice!
