Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWhen checking in, due to this hotel still being under renovation and being part of complex of businesses, it was a little tricky to check in, I had to ring the number that was given to me by booking.com messenger and eventually was greeted near the lifts (Turn right from the reception area (there are two sets of lifts) of the Imperial Plaza, put this in as the grab drop off). There was also a couple who heard us talking to the hotel staff who were sitting in the imperial plaza reception and was relieved to hear we were guests too and came with us to greet the staff, if you hadn't booked on booking.com I am sure it would be even more tricky. It took a couple of times of me calling to get someone to us, so lucky I had a local sim to do the call as it wasn't on what's app. Once greeted the staff were very friendly and helpful. I can understand this might be easier when the reception is fully renovated, and due to the high level of security you get stopped by the guards at the lifts who need you to be with staff to use them before you have checked in. (Once you checked in you are able to go and come back freely).
This was as said modern and spacious, the bed was welcomed as we experienced a lot of 'small double' beds in The Philippines. The shower was hot if you ran the hot tap slightly on the sink and it was nice to have the washing machine there if we needed it. The kitchenette of the room wasn't finished yet (still renovating the rooms) so we ate out at the bus terminal which is about 5 minutes walk, there are plenty of food choices there (mainly fast foods). Also there is lots of asian food choices (Chinese) within the same building. On the morning of our check out we went to Ayala Malls, Manila Bay which was a 6 minute 'grab' away, this was good if you wanted to get breakfast somewhere else and get some last minute bits before your flight or travel. We were on our last bit of our trip however if you are using this as a place to stay to get your visa extension, its a 27 minute taxi or a hours train ride to get to SM Aura Mall, Immigration is on the 8th floor (next to the cinema). This is the highest rated office, we went there when it opened at 8am, and we had our two month tourist extension completed within 15/20 minutes. Just remember to have your shoulders covered for men and women. We stayed here for one night but I think you could stay here for longer if you wanted the western comforts of a modern room with a big bed and space for a decent price, definitely once the kitchens are completed you could easily stay there longer. Nice at sunrise and sunset from the balcony so hopefully when it's fully done they will put chairs on the balcony. It could have been cleaner however it was a good standard, there was a pool which was a bonus for that price, this wasn't very crowded when I came in April and it was almost Olympic size. There was also a Gym but this was under renovation.

United KingdomThe check in process was very slow and confusing. We were made to wait in the lobby for half an hour before being able to check in. It was only for 1 night for an early flight so we would have liked this to be quicker. Also, not clear on location - the address doesn’t come up on google. Also the shower was cold.
Good facilities, comfortable bed. Although it had an extractor fan in the kitchen but no hob?

BelgiumIt is not a hotel and cannot be recognised from the outside. Had to ask security staff to find out and confirm that it is actually exists as sub-section of Imperial Plaza Residences. Bathroom is smelly.

United KingdomThe address/ name of the hotel is not the same as listed- very hard to find without the right one- It’s actually called Imperial Plaza (only found this by looking through other reviews) + made it very hard for a grab/taxi to accept. Hotel did not pick up the phone to help. It’s not a hotel but company owned flats within a residential building. Your bags need to go through a security scanner on arrival. Check in and out is difficult- had to wait 30 mins for the security team in the reception area to contact anyone who worked there and no instructions for check out/ staff around to check out the next day. No hot water and neither of the WiFi’s did not work in the room.
The room was large. Good for a short stop whilst waiting/ getting off of a flight. Quiet.

United KingdomBelow are the list of things we did not like. 1. The reception was in 21th floor, according to the staff their reception in second floor is under renovation. We were in 20th floor and your key card will only have access to your allocated level, level 5 where the swimming pool is and the ground floor. You can only contact them via local mobile number or to go down to security in ground floor and ask them to contact for you. I have to rely with my visitors with local number to contact them or wait for any staff to appear in the corridor. They only give one key card, they will ask other guest to take photo of it so the guard can tap the elevator for you, or leave it with the security so other occupants can get in the room. They even suggested to leave your door open because it is safe. We booked a 3 bedroom suite for 7 people. 2. The advertisement was 3 bedrooms with a sofa bed with 4 beds in total. When we arrived, there was no sofa bed, only 3 beds + 6 pillows. When I complained, the staff said there was mistake with the description as none of their rooms has sofa bed. The 3 bed suite was only good for 6 people, max 7. I explained that upon booking when you add more people in the booking, the price was changing and I paid for 7 people. I asked for a mattress, pillow and blanket. I have to asked 3x and the staff told me to put my complain to the owner directly via booking.com. I messaged the owner and in the end we got only the extra pillows and blanket. 3. When we got in the room, there was only a kettle but no adaptor and a fridge that was not working. I passed by other rooms the housekeepers were preparing and saw complimentary water and coffee/tea + cups. When I asked them, they said it was complimentary and I requested that they provide as well in our room. I made several trips to find the staff to request things that should have been there upon check in. They provided the adapter and they changed the fridge/ freezer. 4. The floor was dusty and dirty.

RussiaNo reception, they moved me between 3 rooms. In the first one there was a significant leakage in the bathroom. In the second there was no WiFi working. In the third one there were no hot water and it was crazy loud because of the busses honking all the time. It was very dirty, and there were a cockroach. All the reviews are from china and they just buy them.

United StatesI got a room that absolutely did not match anything in the picture advertised. When I got in the room the TV wasn’t working, WiFi was weak, and new utensils in the kitchen when I try to cook for my kids. I had to complain to the office to get moved to a better room on my last day of stay.
The property was new and very clean. Nice size swimming pool.
