Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. JapanThe only ice maker in the hotel was not working during our stay. Tbh it was really disappointing as it is actually my top reason for choosing Microtel, as weird as that sounds, because I cannot not have ice in my water. Good thing a staff was attentive and heard me being sad over the ice machine, he immediately asked us for our room number and offered to bring us ice immediately.
Beds were comfy, room curtains were really blacked out all light so we had a good extended sleep, and breakfast was decent (buffet consisted of few meat options, rice and egg, a type of congee, some bread and jam options, cereal, salad, and fresh fruits offering and their brewed coffee was good!). Booking(dot)com rates were also WAY CHEAPER than their rates on the day of our booking/check in (we just randomly decided to stay somewhere comfy at 10PM and literally asked for their rates first at the reception and compared it online, and booked via booking(dot)com's app while we're already there with no problem).

PhilippinesThis is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I did so for its location. I also liked the breakfast buffet. It's an old hotel but everything works just fine and the room is quite big. Some fixtures are broken and towels are a little old but overall it was relatively cheap.

Surprisingly quiet and relaxing place. I loved sitting by the window which had a cushioned window sill wide enough for a person to lie down in. From our window, the hotel looks like it is surrounded by greenery even though Techno Hub is right on a major road, Commonwealth Avenue. Our room included buffet breakfast which wasn't exceptional but very convenient. The common areas were clean and bright with natural light and breezy. We felt recharged after staying there a couple of nights.

PhilippinesI have a couple of suggestions to improve your experience at the hotel. First, it would be great if the TV could be upgraded to a Smart TV. Currently, there are only a few channels available, and having access to Netflix or YouTube would enhance the guests' viewing options. Additionally, I want to bring up an issue we faced on December 31st. We left early to visit my husband's family and placed the "Please Clean My Room" sign on our door. However, when we returned, our room had not been cleaned. We were staying on the 6th floor, and we put the sign out around 11 AM, well before the evening when we know rooms typically can't be cleaned. Thank you for addressing these concerns.
