The river is quite busy with tourist boats with loud music, which is quite anoying during the day, but that is of course not the fault of the accomodation.

The accomodation brings the pure jungle experience with evertyhing with that connected, in a good and bad way. Great kitchen and helpful staff.

Access from the main road is only by foot or motorcycle and can be muddy after rain. There are a lot of steps to the restaurant and access road from where the bungalows are located, it wasn't a problem for us but if you don't like steps this may not be for you.

Great location on the river Loboc. Take the boat from Loboc to get there 150 peso per person, its worth it. The semi detached bungalows are rustic local design with their own basic bathroom. You climb up a ladder to get to the veranda which has a hammock and table and chair overlooking the river. The beds are quite comfortable, no air conditioning but a fan is provided. Staff are very friendly and informative. Food is excellent and good value, served all day and freshly cooked. Would definitely come again

Simple mattress thin and not very comfortable.

Simple huts across from lubbock river, jungle, disconnect. Amazing views from restaurant and good service. I recommend a boat trip on the river to arrive to the place. Unpaved road if you arrive by motorcycle or car. You will have to walk 800m to the main road. if it rains forget about going that way. be prepared to climb a lot of stairs.

No WiFi or phone connection throughout property - this is lovely at the huts but would be useful to have in the restaurant for planning purposes when travelling! Our hut also had a cat which kept coming in overnight even when the door was locked. This disturbed our sleep as she jumped over the place.

Fantastic experience staying in the jungle huts. Beautiful location. Owner is very friendly and happy to help with suggestions on where to visit in Bohol! Also arranged laundry and bike rental. Rooms were cleaned regularly with bedding changed. Resturant is reasonably priced with good range of options (useful as after dark you are pretty stuck at the huts!) Boat is the best way to access the huts with luggage as the access road is very difficult for even bikes especially when muddy after rain!

Access was really challenging - the 800m track from the main road was treacherous and almost impassable after heavy rain on our rental scooter. No wifi anywhere and no phone signal. Very cold showers. Unwelcome bugs and creepy crawlies in our room - but to expected I suppose!

Amazing views and location. Good communal space and restaurant serving lovely food at a good price. Staff were friendly and full of smiles. Highly recommend the P400 massage!

Nothing! Just know it’s basic and you have to walk a lot of stairs to the restaurant. The bed was a bit small and narrow for my brother though, but if you are shorter than 1,85m than it’ll be fine for you.

Really nice owners who can give you good tips on the island. The food was really good too. Just go for the experience!

It was a bit hard to access… when we went it had been raining so the path to access it was quite muddy.

The views are amazing, you are in the middle of nowhere. At night you can relax by hearing all the animals singing in the jungle.

The weather was awful while we were there, was raining all the time, what meant the last 800m way to Nuts huts was extremely muddy and made it more or less impossible to go by a scooter all the way. That made it pretty messy. The other option was coming by boat, which costs 150php per person one way, but it has amazing views during the way.

Being in a middle of nature was amazing, with all its sounds and views. The staff was super friendly and their food is just delicious. We tried bunch of their food and drinks and everything was very good. Basic bungalows, great pressure under shower. Very clean.

Really nothing to complain about. If you choose to stay at this kind a place, then you already are ready for a simple and modest jungle hut. Recommend it loads!

I stayed at Nuts Huts with my parents. We really enjoyed our stay in the green jungle during Christmas time. Chose to kayak in Loboc river. Also we experienced steam sauna that was a very relaxing evening experience. The staff were super helpful. Thank you so very much!

The hotel is built on a hill that goes from the main village to the river. There are more than 100 steps from the entrance to the lobby and then another 100 steps to the rooms, which can be a bit tiresome and difficult with luggage. Fine for the experience and a couple of days, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

The location and general vibe of the hotel is very special: by the Lomoc river, you stay on a raised bungalow with the basic facilities to get you through your stay. There's electricity and running water, but it does feel a bit wilder than your usual hotel room. There isn't much around, but the price of drinks and food in the restaurant is very reasonable.

A breathtaking location in a jungle on a river. Adorable huts with perfectly manicured trails leading to each one. The staff are all so incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. Delicious, affordable drinks and food with vegetarian options! I couldn’t imagine having stayed anywhere else in Loboc! Like other travelers I met and chatted with there, this won’t be our last visit to the Nut Huts. Thank you to the staff Lisa, Sarah, Edna, Ann, and several others that I unfortunately can’t remember the names of! You all truly made our visit extra spectacular!

They need to upkeep the rooms better here. I understand we are in the jungle and these huts are supposed to be “rustic” but there was a whole colony of rats living in the walls. I would see them through the clear plastic siding. And I could hear them scurrying around. They were loud! Not only that, there was mold growing on the walls, and tons of termite droppings all over. The mosquito net in the room also had a very bad small to it. The rooms are “private” but keep in mind the walls are so thin that you can basically hear your next door neighbors breathe. I was excited for my experience at nuts huts and was disappointed. The place is owned by a European guy too, not locally owned which is a negative for me.

The location and restaurant were great.
