Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

QatarOur suggestions for improvement are listed below: 1) In apartments, add a coffee-making machine and soap for the dishes (this would align with other hotels in the region that rent apartments) 2) the arabic dishes offered need an arabic touch (maybe some training would easily solve this point) 3) allow the trolley with luggages to go to the parking levels to load the cars away from the hot weather (better for clients and employees)
We were pleasantly surprised to see significant improvements during our recent visit to Adagio Doha, after a disappointing stay last summer. Everything ran smoothly this time, and we felt genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The kindness and willingness of the employees to adjust to our needs were remarkable. The team (front desk, cleaning, restaurant, swimming pool) deserves special praise for their professionalism and attentiveness. Although the kitchen in the apartment is still not fully equipped, which might be inconvenient for guests planning to cook, we opted for room service instead. The food delivered from the hotel restaurant was good, especially the continental and subcontinental options, which were very tasty. However, we do not recommend the Arabic dishes. Regarding desserts, both the umm ali and the berry cheesecake fell short of expectations. Breakfast maintains a consistent quality, which we appreciated. However, it would benefit from some rotation of the dishes, as having almost the same options every day can become monotonous for guests staying longer, like us. Overall, we were happy with our stay and pleased to see that the service and coordination have been greatly enhanced since our last visit. We now feel comfortable recommending Adagio again.

SlovakiaTiny matters ....when staying a week I would prefer having my own toilet brush in room, the house keeping guys didn't want to give it to me, they said the management doesn't allow them, but they won't be there if anyone is doing their business in the night, kinda common stuff in hotels, so went and bought one on my own.... Stayover service....they do beds and bathroom but don't wash dishes and because there is no washing up liquid or 🧽 sponge provided I have to buy my own in supermarket, this is maybe time consuming for them, they don't vacuum the floor either, and they add water 3 bottles though which is awesome 👍👍 they change towels but not consistently....one day just one towel even the booking is for two people, it must be written on their sheet how many staying at the room. Restaurant - they tend to delegate a lot between supervisors to line staff but then guests get not completely what they asked for....like I order at the till a sparkling water with a glass of ice, they specifically ask you if you want a lemon in it and I said NO, and I get lemons in glasses from another waitress who he didn't even passed on with but one completely from back room, so somewhere got lost in translation in that long chain of commands 😜...so I need to stand up and ask again for new., this happened to me 3 times with various staff, it's like you order no ketchup just two mayo dips and they bring you that ketchup and one mayo again a totally different waiter you asked that from.....devil is in a detail.......I guess this is because the waiters seem not being assigned to table sections, so there will always come a different waiter to your table. The majority of the staff in the bar don't know what Shandy or Radler is.... except the manager who knows exactly 👍 One day I sit outside in the afternoon, the Tunisian female waiter brought me coffee and suddenly in front of me make pictures with her phone about dirty patio flooring....
I like the location, all services are around, coffee shops, supermarkets, health centres, various restaurants and night clubs either the The Back Room or others nearby and when driving easy to get anywhere, there is a bus nearby which takes you to the closest Metro station ....very good...the staff all over is very helpful, if you staying a week like me you can literally meet all employees...the pool staff is also very helpful, all is clean and open until 10 pm, not like other hotels closing pool at 6 pm or 7 pm in Doha, great value for the money. Additionally a shisha night out, very convenient The BacK Room open in the afternoon to late night in those very hot 🔥 months great for coffee or beer...well done .... especially the waiters Pramila, Angel, and Thin and the Indian manager of The Back Room who's name I don't recollect .... And I really like how someone active changed the smoking bin outside next to valet parking, such a very nice aesthetic one 👍 I see a lot of positive changes while staying there 3 times in the last 4 months.

South AfricaThere was nothing that we found not to our liking.
The whole experience, from check-in to check-out, was seamless and pleasant. The staff were always friendly and attentive. From Front Desk to Housekeeping. The facilities were well maintained and clean at all times. The location was perfectly suited to our needs - easy walking distance to the Metro system, close to the venue where we had to participate in a sport event as well as shopping facilities for basic essentials.
