How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

We stayed at this hotel for the second time. We really like it. The location is very good. There is a beach, a promenade, shops, cafes, and a metro station nearby. The rooms are very nice. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is excellent. We arrived very late, but we were immediately checked in. Our room was upgraded. It was very nice. On my birthday, I received a surprise in my room - a delicious cake. The room was always very clean. The water was replenished on time. Any requests were met with attention. I hope to visit Qatar next year and stay at this hotel. Thank you. It was a pleasant experience.

We had two rooms in different floor which was ok but not that comfortable specially we are having kids and had to separate them, however wasn’t that big deal. The breakfast you have to pay for the omelette and pancakes 😅 wasn’t expecting that coming.
Excellent location in the centre of every place you would think of.. 24hrs gym so no need to worry what time u should hit the gym.

Low floor rooms facing a construction site which was annoying Upon My reservation should be in high floor they said in booking when I asked about it but when I reached the hotel for check in they they gave me room in 3th floor no available rooms on high floors they said.
The stuff was kind and they gave us great welcoming. Very professional.

The variety of food at the breakfast "buffet" - I was told that this wasn't directly managed by the hotel but even so, that's just an excuse. I don't understand hiring a company that lacks variety, have customers complain, and still not source out a different company or include more types of food.
The staff at the door were friendly and very helpful. They helped take out my shopping and opened the doors for us. Little gestures like these make a stay more welcoming

I'm speechless. The cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel was truly exceptional. Every area we visited, from the lobby to the hallways and dining spaces, was spotless and well-maintained. All the staff are friendly except I think for 1 in the reception which i found a little stress during that day. Before coming early in the hotel about 1:30pm, i have send a message in the application if we can come between 1-2pm and received a message that it was updated. As per the lady in the reception/lobby “updated” does mean it was confirmed. We waited until 2:30-2:30 and she even stressed me out that it is actually still early since normal check in is 3:00pm.
Room is cozy and The room is clean, everything you need is available. The pool is a bit small but still manageable specially if it is not peak season/days. There js a sauna/steam that you can enjoy any time.
