How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Absolutely nothing! Everything was great!
It was amazing, I loved the service and the location. I was solo travelling and extended my stay because it was just so pleasant! Will definitely come back in the future! The staff was amazing and super attentive, the food was great and really calm environment.

Honestly, nothing stood out as negative. If I had to be critical, perhaps the junior suite upgrade could be a bit more affordable — but after the experience, it felt completely worth it.
The junior suite was beyond stunning — spacious, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed with elegant cultural touches. The balcony opened up to a breathtaking sunrise over the Gulf, easily the most beautiful view we’ve ever witnessed. The breakfast was truly exceptional — every dish was freshly prepared and beautifully presented, especially the pancakes, shakshuka, and mezze selection. The staff were respectful, the location serene, and the ambience unforgettable.

No breakfast buffet although the set breakfast was nice and well presented. Not much to do in the hotel as it has no spa or pool.
Serene and beautiful sea view. Nice Filipina waitress at the restaurant. The decor of the hotel is beautiful. Comfortable bed in a large room.

There was a lot of noise, and you could hear everything outside. We spoke with the receptionist, and they sent security to prevent people from sitting beside our apartment.

The only thing that needs improvement and the only issue is the cleanliness of the place, I gave many instructions to the housekeeping staff but they keep ignoring Found bugs a couple of times, and I often found that they don’t clean the dust properly. And although I asked them to clean the balcony over 10 times they kept ignoring my request.
Shaimaa was really lovely and professional, the studio is quite small but the one bedroom apartment is great. The kitchen is full equipped The location is great The place is great for family The staff are very helpful and nice and they provide transportation around the place

Everything was perfect during my time at the hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the view was especially impressive. The staff were all kind and helpful. The rooms were not sound proof if any room door within the floor close their door as if someone is barging into your room even in the middle of the night which was cutting off our sleeping the whole night 🥺

Comments above re breakfast. Although very impressed with size and standard of rooms, a little dissapointed in that they chose to have cream carpets which showed quite a few stains otherwise no complaints whatsoever as thoroughly enjoyed staying here
Whilst breakfast was a set choice and nice, it became quite boring after 3rd day-prefer self service buffet. Location excellent loved the evening vibe around the area. Staff very good. Very spacious rooms 👍🏽
