Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PortugalThe food in the 4 Seasons Restaurant was very good but unfortunately the service was really slow the evening we were there (over an hour to receive food) even though there were hardly anyone else there. Having said that, the hotel staff and Duty Manager were exceptional in dealing with our complaint and compensated us superbly with reduction in the bill, free dessert, fruit basket sent to the room and complimentary airport taxi service. We understand that things can occasionally go wrong but the hotel more than made up for the initial problem and made it clear that customer satisfaction is of utmost importance to them. We came away very happy and would definitely stay in Mövenpick again for the good customer relations and good value for money
A conveniently placed hotel close to the airport yet within walking distance of old Doha, the waterfront and Souq Waqif. The staff were all exceptionally helpful and welcoming, particularly the receptionists on the front desk, Namal in the restaurant, the waitress in the jazz bar and Hussan the Duty Manager. The rooms were comfortable with all the amenities you would require, like ironing board, safe and hairdryer with good views over the sea and Corniche and the gym was very well equipped. The breakfast were amazing and probably the best we have had in any hotel. Great value for money.

Indonesiaif you're planning to explore Doha using the metro, this may not be the most convenient option, as the nearest station is quite far, especially challenging during the summer heat (over 40°C when we visited). However, taxis are readily available and reasonably priced in Doha, so getting around was still easy and stress-free.
This was our first time visiting Doha, and we chose Mövenpick Doha because we’re familiar with the brand and trust its consistent quality. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short drive from the airport and close to several of the city’s main attractions like the Museum of Islamic Art, the National Museum of Qatar, and Souq Waqif. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated after a long journey. We booked a Deluxe Room and were assigned a room on the 4th floor with a lovely view overlooking the pool area. The room was quite spacious—even with our two extra-large suitcases, we still had plenty of space to move around. It was well-equipped with a fridge, ironing board, working desk, a comfortable sitting chair, and a bathroom with a bathtub and full amenities. The bed was soft and very comfortable, and we appreciated the extra pillows provided. Overall, we had a great experience.

AustraliaEverything was good
Movenpick is relatively close to the National Museum (and its Metro station - so good to get from the airport if you choose). Staff are friendly and will help with any needs. Room is spacious and well appointed. Good selection at the breakfast buffet with daily variety. Breakfast staff were a delight. It's an easy walk to and from Souq Waqif in the evening (when the heat has relented somewhat)

CanadaIt is an older property. The carpets in the hallway had an odd smell. Swimming pool is very basic. This is not somewhere I’d want to stay for a holiday but perfect in between flights and a short visit.
The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Buffet style with so much choice. The location is excellent to the metro, corniche, museums and souq. Not too far from the airport.

United StatesIt was impossible to get a good nights sleep with all of the door slamming that went on all night. I don’t know what’s happened to Movenpic but the last ones I’ve stayed at really need an upgrade.
Hotel is centrally located to all of the popular sites in Doha and a short drive to the airport. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and the staff friendly.
