    “We enjoyed our stay in this unusual hotel, nothing was too much trouble for Marie-Claire and her assistant, all as said in other reviews. I wish I had taken a photo of the tagine, it wouldn’t be out of place in an art gallery. Briare is a perfect base for cycling trips along the river and the canals.”

    “The bedroom was spacious, very clean very bright, cool in this heatwave and overlooking a lovely garden. The king size bed was very comfortable. We had the best night sleep as it’s so quiet. The owner was very welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and delicious with some homemade yoghurts, muffins, and waffles etc Can only recommend and we will stay there again on our next trip.”
