Additional fee for late check-out ( 10 euros per hour). I would not recommend it for runners or someone who needs additional hour to quickly set things. The room needs bigger window for natural light

The hotel wasn't complete and as soon as I arrived to my room the door did not work properly and there was heavy drilling as they were currently working on the hotel completion. I had to request a room change due to not being able to close or lock my door, the air conditioning did not work in the new room and the bathroom fittings, like the tap was loose. Although the room was adequate for one night stay, there were issues with the wifi too.

Staff accommodating and helpful, friendly and hospitable and I was upgraded to a double room as they had one available which was nice.

1. The STAFF- At the time of check-in I asked the Gent at the front desk to book us a taxi for 7:30am to Airport, for the very next day. I was asked whether to include it on the bill. I confirmed and paid immediately. Later in the evening I mentioned this to the Lady at reception to confirm the booking; I was met with a nonchalant 'If we confirmed it then it's booked - don't worry." The next morning at 7am, I went to the reception desk AGAIN (since there are no phones in the room) to inform the Lady at reception (a new person), that we were expecting a taxi to pick us up. Half hour later, we were checked out and waiting, the lady tells us no cab was booked and no payment taken. The only positive in this, is that despite trying to defend her staff (which I appreciate) upon understanding the mess up, she took full responsibility for the oversight, actually apologized and arranged a cab for us within 15 minutes. She also got us a take-away breakfast which was unexpected and quite generous. Had she chosen to be difficult we could have lost time and missed our flight. 2. STAIRS - nowhere does it mention that there are no elevators (except in the reviews). There's are a flight of stairs from entrance to the front desk. And then another steep flight of stairs from the 3rd to the 4th floor. I'm not sure why we were given the 4th floor but we weren't offered any options. We managed as it was just 2 of us with 1 bag each. Not suitable for people with leg or back issues, or big suitcases. 3. FITTINGS (?) - Bathroom door wouldn't lock. There were gaps on either side of the door such that you can see through. There's no phone to call the front desk. So if you need any assistance whatsoever, don't count on anyone for help. Unless you can walk down the stairs, take an elevator and make it to the front desk. 4. WATER!!!! - I have not been to a hotel where complimentary water was not offered.

Overall, the hotel met expectations. We were looking for something central and cozy for a single night. By that measure, it was what we needed. Very good LOCATION. Within the central walking zone, close to a number of lively restaurants and walking distance to the Republic Square, Knez Mihailova and the Sava bay. The room itself was small but COZY. We got one of the new rooms that was on the 4th floor, which had no elevator access. Be warned. The PRICE was good for what we got. We left too early to enjoy a sit-down breakfast but the lady at reception (Natalia, I believe) at the morning of our check out went out of her way to sort out a 'take away' breakfast. That was very delicious and verrry considerate despite the mishaps that took place - see below.

The hotel is located in the Bohemian Quarter which is really nice. The receptionist was always extremely nice. The overall experience was really good.

The was a smell of cigarettes 🚬 but in Serbia people used to smoke almost everywhere, maybe it’s a normal thing. No hair dryer, slippers, small amount of shampoo and shower gel, but once you ask the staff everything will be provided. Never switch off the boiler!!!

Some construction works were under way when we stayed in December, so there were construction materials along the hall, but these must be over by the start of the high season.

A very nice and cozy hotel, the location is great, right on the Skadarlija street with historic buildings and old restaurants. We liked the bath right in the bedroom, looks fancy!

The air conditioner was broken, the weather was very cold and even though we asked them to change our room, they did not change it. After 5 hours, they were convinced and changed it. excep that, everything was good.

There was construction dust in the suit everywhere on the walls. There were also smell of some chemicals. The sink in shower is horrible, shower time means little flood in whole toilet. The sound of music from some place nearby was disturbing at the late evening
