Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI was having an amazing time staying in this place. Location is walking distances to many local attractions and markets. Everything was great! Clean, big rooms. Kitchen was packed with all appliances and tools you will possibly need to cook meals. Fun, friendly atmosphere also I found very nice to enjoy my stay. I highly recommend it.

FinlandNothing, they had really thought of everything!
The hostel was just perfect! The staff was friendly and the hostel was very clean. The location was good, not the most central, but it was very quick and convenient to take a bus to the city centre. The rooms were spacious and the beds had enough storage for everything. Each guest had a locker under the bed and a bin for food in the kitchen. The hostel also offered slippers for each guest so nobody had to walk indoors with dirty shoes.

United StatesThe only unfortunate (but somewhat comical) experience was the bad-apple that would come across to stay at the hostel every now and then. But even with a frustrated traveler, the staff know how to handle the situation in a mature and profesional manner.
In general an amazing hostel. From the staff, to guests, and all the hospitable utilities they have to offer. An amazing kitchen, and hang out area to get to meet your fellow guests, and even the staff.

SerbiaThere was a woman speaking really really loud for extended amount of time on the phone in front of our room multiple times. She was speaking on Serbian/Bosnian language thinking that we do not understand local language and she was making really rude comments and making fun about how other girls are dressed and how people look like (while she being an oversized tank ) She was also bothering other guests about Israel Palestine war and forcing her opinions which made other guests uncomfortable and some even asked to change room because of her. I am not sure if she is part of the stuff but I know her name is Mirjam or smth like that. Everyone else was super friendly and polite so I don't give hostel low rating because of 1 person but if she works there, she should be fired 😔 It is really sad how one person destroyed overall excellent experience.

UkraineI recently stayed at this hostel and had a wonderful experience. The entire place was very clean and comfy, and the staff were incredibly helpful. All the amenities I needed were easily accessible within the hostel itself. On top of that, the price was very affordable. Highly recommend staying here!

CanadaNothing. It was great. Hvala
The beds are comfortable- firm and even but soft mattress. Good cooking area (2 burner places, 2 sinks) and very clean. Hand towels and small things that make a difference (coffee grinder for good coffee!) . The curtains don’t make noise when you pull them across 👍. Ensuite bathroom is very big with bath (worth the extra $). Large window for light and air. Great outdoor area to sit and inside lounge area. Most importantly for me, is that (real) staff is on hand to deal with issues and enforce quiet time and rules.

RussiaI tried many hostels and didn’t see any like this one: Cleanliness, atmosphere, stuff and how they treat guest is outstanding. Sometimes they share food with guests. Everything was designed with soul and care. Also it solves the main task - socialisation. The hall with tables and sofas is in the middle and people gather and talk, meet and communicate.

AustraliaI was in the first room that is next to the common area, where at 9 am the music start playing so people can’t hear the noises from the bathroom ( 100% understandable 🤭💩) However the volumen could be a bit lower 😬
Friendly staff, SUPER clean,if you are the type of backpacker that save money cooking, this is your place as they have a complete kitchen, a big Tupperware where you can put your groceries all also 2 fridges,so you will have plenty of space. If you work remote there is an area where you can do it in silence plus a terrace on the top floor to chill and have a beer or maybe more lol. Downstairs the garden is really nice, so have breakfast there is relaxing and a perfect way to start your day. They provide tea, coffee and bread for free and the owner sometimes offer what ever that he cooked or buy so that is really nice and create a close and friendly environment, like the watermelon on the photo . Also, that helps to meet new people in the hostel. Hardly recommend!!!!

RussiaIn the heart of Serbia, among the busy streets of Belgrade, stood a hostel unlike any other. Its name was whispered along the alleys and on the lips of travelers everywhere - “Tranquil Oasis”. From the moment you entered its welcoming doors, you were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness. The walls were decorated with paintings of cabbages and different interpretations of the cabbage theme, and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee danced in the air, mixing with the laughter of guests from all corners of the globe. The heart of the Serene Oasis was the public spaces. The cozy lounge, complete with cushions and bean bags, became a sanctuary for weary travelers to relax and share stories of their travels. Here, friendships were made through games and lively debates about the best local cuisine. The hostel kitchen was a melting pot of flavors where travelers exchanged recipes and cooking tips while preparing communal meals. From sizzling Serbian ćevapi to tales of exotic dishes celebrating the diversity of cultures under one roof. Of course, one cannot fail to note the culinary talent of the hostel employee, who prepared various dishes with cabbage and treated them to the guests. But perhaps the true magic of the Serene Oasis lies in its staff. They were not just employees, but custodians of the spirit of the hostel, making sure every guest felt at home from the moment they arrived. Whether offering helpful tips on the city's hidden gems or introducing each other to each other, they went above and beyond to make each guest's stay truly memorable. So, in the heart of Serbia, among the bustling streets of Belgrade, the Serene Oasis turned out to be more than just a hostel. It was a haven for adventurers, a refuge for wanderers and a beacon of hospitality that welcomed travelers from all corners of the globe with open arms. А теперь отзыв для русских 😁 Потрясающий хостел, моя рекомендация.
