It was lovely. The host was extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel at ease. Location was great if you want to stay close to the fortress and main shopping/nightlife. There were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Hostel itself was well managed and very clean.

The staff is nice, room is very clean, also suitable to those who prefer quiet sleeping time due to clear house rules. The toilet is also very clean and well maintained which is a plus. Location was good, close to city centre with lots of supermarkets and bars and restaurants.

No sign on front of street to suggest where the hostel is. Took me 10 minutes to find it but if you contact the host as you get there he'll come out to meet you 👍🏼

Everything seemed fine, although granted, my stay was short. Maybe the kitchen area could benefit from an additional Wi-fi router.

As an anxious introvert, I don’t often stay in hostels since I need privacy and cleanliness around. However, this hostel is just perfect for someone like me! Rooms and shared facilities are spotless. Rooms have windows and thus enough fresh air. There are enough bathrooms, they are very clean and well-equipped, with paper towels. The hostel is very quiet, and while the host is very strict about the rules, this makes the place perfect for someone who wants to rest and not party. I stayed one night and the hostel was not really full, but the hostel employs a quiet policy at nights anyway. PS Italian parmesan the host kindly shared was delicious!

I think the hostel is in the best location in Belgrade. The owner of the hostel, Sinan is friendly and helpful. He does his best to help you when you have a problem. It has a very nice terrace. It is the best hostel to stay in Belgrade. You won't regret staying there.

Nice and clean hostel right by the old center of old Belgrade and Dorcol with all its cool cafes and bars. We had a private room on the top foot and everything was nice and quite and clean. Very recommendable!

A great place to stay especially if you are working remotely, the balcony is beautiful and calm, the host is very kind and keeping the place well maintained, it’s 5 minutes walk to downtown and there’s supermarket & bus station nearby. The internet is super great which is very important for me.

HiddenGem truly lives up to its name. The owner, Sinan, genuinely cares about every guest’s experience, and it’s an absolute pleasure to interact with him. The cleanliness of the hostel is outstanding – Sinan is constantly making sure everything is spotless. The location is super convenient, surrounded by plenty of restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. One small tip: make sure to carefully read the confirmation message you receive before your stay – it contains important information that will help you find the place more easily. There’s a well-equipped kitchen for guests to use, and the balcony makes for a great workspace. I can imagine it being even better in the summer. If I come back to Belgrade, I’ll definitely stay here again!

Hello everyone, I can say that my 3-day hostel experience was very good, even great, even though it was off season. I would like to thank the Turkish gentleman who owns the hostel. He was very helpful in both accommodation and transportation. He was very hospitable. There is no doubt that the hostel is both affordable and safe. I will go again and this time I will have other travelers with me. Thank you very much for everything, Mr. Sinan.

Place was spotless! Very clean and tidy with all the basic amenities one needs when travelling. Sinan was very patient and accommodating and assisted me with getting a taxi at ungodly hours (4:30am). A hostel where even the guests were very considerate and quiet in the sleeping quarters.

This hostel made my stay experience perfect! It is also very central in terms of location. It is 1-2 minutes walking distance to the city center. It is very easy to reach the tourist attractions in the city. It is very close to public transportation and you can walk everywhere. The comfort of the room and the level of cleanliness is really admirable. The rooms are spacious and modern, and I was impressed that everything has been thought of. There are lockers in every room, so your belongings are safe. Moreover, the rooms are cleaned daily and the cleaning details are very professional. The bathrooms are very clean and hygienic, and I never had any hot water problems. The kitchen area is very useful. It is a great advantage to have an area where you can make your own meals. There is also a seating area where guests can mingle with each other, which creates a social environment. Mr. Sinan, the owner of the hostel, was extremely helpful and friendly. When I had any questions or requests, they responded immediately and produced solutions. Definitely a place I would like to come back again. In terms of cleanliness, safety, comfort and amenities, this hostel offered a 10 star experience!

The place is amazing! It's very clean and organized, the furniture is new, the bathroom is very clean and the rooms are big. The owner was very helpful, he recommended some amazing places to visit, and he was very friendly, offered a welcome drink, he made sure that my stay was comfortable. The location is in the city center as well! I couldn't have asked for a better place.
