This isn’t so much of a big deal but the room I stayed in was one of the rooms which hadn’t been modernised so the furniture was out dated and the room was dark. Also in the bathroom the silicone around the shower seemed a DIY job which made the room look very unprofessional. The whole room and bathroom was clean though.

I was travelling from Haparanda to Blekinge and the hotel is nearly exactly half way. It’s really easy to access from the main road which was nice after driving such a long way. The young girl at reception was really nice (don’t know what her name was) I arrived later in the evening and the restaurant was not open (it’s not open on Sundays anyway) but the girl offered me a sandwich then helped me try and find a restaurant I could get hot food. The breakfast was very good! I read a few other peoples reviews on here that said they could hear the traffic from the main road but I didn’t. The room I stayed in was silent! No complaints there from me.

Well nothing really pop in my mind that I would not like.

Breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice and a good one. Location is great if you consider wider area, but if you look only Soderhamn it a little out of all the activities. But still 10 minutes walk is refreshing to go to city center.

Maybe it would be better to have some instructions on the breakfast appliances like waffle maker or orange juice press, for us who aren't familiar with them and don't want to make a mess

Very comfortable beds, clean and fresh rooms. The pool was great, the sauna amazing. All to ourselves, don't know if it's always like that or we were just lucky. Everything we needed and more. Breakfast was delicious, a great variety of foods and drinks. Water cooker in the room, definitely a plus

The hotel is old and haven´t been renovated since its building year, which i guess were around 1985 - 1995?

The staff were laid-back and respectful. The breakfast was surprisingly good, given the hotel´s condition.

We travelled for three weeks through Norway, Finland and Sweden and this was hands down the worst hotel we stayed at. It definitely isn’t a four star hotel - doubt it should even be a three star one. The building and rooms are old, outdated, not very clean and a bit smelly. We booked a double room and we were assigned to one upon arriving, however after just two minutes the reception lady knocked at our door telling us we had to downgrade to a twin room downstairs because we had a dog (we mentioned it during the reservation and the dog was with us during check-in?). The beds were uncomfortable and it was hard to let fresh air inside the room so we didn’t sleep well. The breakfast was just terrible and for the first time ever we did not eat anything - everything was dirty and except us and two other guest there were 5 people from the hotel staff picking up what best was left on to their plates, queuing to the toaster, waffle machine and juicer (one of the employees was also clearly sick and just casually stood there coughing on the bread while making her toast…). Definitely not worth the money and our nerves, sleeping in the car would have been a better option - we headed back on the road in the morning tired, hungry and disappointed.
