How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. When I requested assistance in viewing a room, I was ignored. Additionally, despite booking online, I was told that check-in was at 2pm, causing me to waste time waiting. I observed that some guests no with reservations were given rooms ahead of me. Furthermore, there was no elevator, and I was asked to take my belongings downstairs on my own.

I’m giving this hotel a negative review only based on the description it had facilities for disabled. It does not. They think they have a suitable ramp - it is in fact an Everest of ramps and we were shown to a room with 3 steps as a person in a wheelchair.
They were helpful to change hotels as unsuitable for wheelchair

Outstanding Hotel Wonderful Helpful very efficient ladies on the front desk.. Immaculately clean in all areas . Very comfortable beds and Amazing shower Breakfast is s well laid out buffet with everything from cereal fruit yoghurt full range of cooked offerings and a dedicated egg chef.. Every staff member took pryde in their tasks WELL DONE ..A Great job

The staff was like helpless. Scathe of tea bag was not available, even on extra payment. For all questions the answer was, the hostel staff has gone, we cant provide you with any thing.

Extremely rude staff from checking in all the way through check out. At reception and at breakfast too. AC not working properly, we changed 3 rooms. Extremely hard and uncomfortable mattresses! Huge cockroach in the bathroom. Loud cleaning staff and construction noise in the pm. Do not stay there if you want to have a relaxing and comfortable vacation!

We booked well in advance and still didn't get the rooms together. My sister was not well and they didn't entertain or try to get us rooms together. They gave us rooms on the higher floor too with no lift.

The Wi-Fi only worked at the door, Wi-Fi is poor. No cover over the pool during the day and you have to leave your key at reception whenever you leave.

They charged singel adulet room the same price as a couple and then try to ask for more money when i came back with a girl i meet in the beech to my room

The pool closes too early . Staff is present all night. Why close the pool early????
The breakfast was super! though the coffee and juice was less good lol. The fresh made omelette was delicious.

- AC was pointing directly at the beds, we had to move the beds so we didn't freeze while sleeping - no elevator but 5 stories

we felt like children here - they make you sign in and out pool towels, leave your room key at the desk when you leave, and then during check-out they make you wait at the front desk while they ‘check’ your room before you can leave. in addition the rooms and hotel are very run down and walls are paper thin so we heard our neighbors wake up at 6:30am
the best thing about this property is the location. you’re close to all of the restaurants and bars as well as the pier.
