Located in the old town, with plenty of shops and restaurants, bit away from crazyness of Patong. Charming place with loads of history, you get a feeling that you are in 20's of 20th century. Lovely stuff, comfy rooms, very stylish.

Towels need replacement - too old/grey BUT staff gave me extra set when I asked. Pillows and bedding need airing/cleaning BUT the bed linen is clean fresh When you call front desk = never any response BUT Staff are very courteous (Thai style) HOWEVER English seems an issue. BUT the staff members who speak English decently are extremely courteous/helpful. BEWARE....this quaint hotel with its old world charm has NO lifts. Deluxe rooms are all located on 2nd floor....must climb stairs...other rooms are on ground level. NOT happy with the hotel shuttle service. Hotel kept asking me to pay for the transfer. I did immediately. Got THREE receipts/acknowledgements...BUT the night before flying out in the morning.....got email asking me to pay AGAIN or transfer will be canceled!! very stressful AND time consuming to send them copies of the THREE email receipts etc - no further answer from them. ..arrived Phuket airport found the driver/mini bus and the driver DUMPED myself AND my luggage at the entrance of the hotel on the street......NONE of the all female staff made a move to help me with getting my luggage off the street.. I had to push and drag my bags in OFF the street. This is a big negative and I do NOT recommend taking the hotel shuttle in (UNLESS they improve the quality of service) as there are plenty of transport services at the airport itself.gain

Location is truly FAB right in heart of old town. The size of the bed/mattress is exactly VERY comfortable as rated Size of the deluxe room is very comfortable BUT there are no hooks in the bathroom or soap dish They are very decent with the assorted welcome beverages provided with the deluxe room.

This is a beautiful hotel. It is charming and so beautifully put together - if you like "old world charm" beautiful furniture and brilliant design and restoration you need to stay here. the cafe and coffee were excellent, staff were so courteous and helpful, beds good, rooms had aircon and location in old Phuket town was perfect It was a joy to stay here - we only were able to stay one night but could easily have stayed longer

While the hotel boasts a beautiful design and exceptional staff, I must highlight the outstanding service provided by receptionist Yaya. Her warm demeanor and genuine friendliness made our stay memorable. She even went above and beyond by organizing a delightful birthday surprise for my partner. Her attention to detail truly made our experience special.

I agree with other reviews that there's almost no soundproofing so make sure to bring earplugs.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous!! It was like something out of a magazine, truly unique and the perfect location in Phuket Town to explore.

The cleanliness of the toilets in the rooms can be improved.

The architecture was amazing. It reflects the authenticity and heritage of Phuket Old Town. The hotel was exactly as it is in the pictures and the advertisements. I enjoyed staying there, but was disappointed by the lack of breakfast options and the cleanliness. The menu of the restaurant was limited to two or three basic options. The cleanliness however, did not match the hype around this hotel. The toilets in the rooms could be better. The hotel is in the center of the town and is close to restaurants, bars, exchange places, and shops.

I think they are changing too much . They try to give a modern touch but it looks like they are drifting away from the original hotel . I hope the won’t transform it in a “ contemporary hotel “ soulless .

I have been guest in this hotel I can’t even count them ! Is always an immense pleasure to stay there and breath the memory of the past !
