i had a great stay at the lazy bear! it felt like home, i got great support with everything i wanted to do, the breakfast was great and you meet easy other travellers at the big table in the morning. it's very clean and perfectly located between the old town and the beach. Wörterbuch

Its far from the old town so can be tiring cycling back and forth. the cycles help but they are a bit old

The room was clean and comfortable. the pool was a nice escape from the heat and the common area fostered a place to meet people staying there are make friends easily. The hosts, Linh and Binh are so welcoming and helpful.

There is little privacy in the room as it is an open space with single beds - however you have lockers and it feels less crowded - which is worth it.

The host were very welcoming from the start. The hostel is beautifully designed with a pool perfect for relaxing. The showers cubicles are large, have rain shower and are very clean. The breakfast is copious. The host are very knowledgeable about the local area and helped us organised an overnight trip to the Cham islands (at a discounted price). The atmosphere at the hostel is relaxing with room for guests to mingle but without the party hostel vibe. The location requires transport to go to the city center if you don't want to walk 40mins. On the other hand it is situated in a quiet street making it a great place to whine down after the energetic atmosphere of Hoi an. Saty here - you will love it!

The hosts Binh and Linh are wonderful, giving recommendations on everything about Hoi An and helping out with bookings and travel plans. The place feels like home, is super clean and is in a great location-halfway between the beautiful Old Town and the beaches of Cua Dai or Tan Thanh. The use of bikes is a winner as are the lovely banana pancakes!

This was definitely our best accommodation in Vietnam so far. It's very bright, clean and comfortable we stayed in the dorm and it had the best pillows we've come across in Vietnam. The little pool is great to cool of we spent quite alot of time in it. It's about a 10 minute cycle to both the beach and old town super easy bike rides and actually quite nice staying out of the touristy area. Just down the road is a local market which we bought lots of yum fresh fruit from. The free breakfast is also great.

Everything was amazing!

The owners are super friendly, the room was big and clean. AC works well, a tasty breakfast is included as well. The BEST shower I’ve had in a hostel on my 4 month trip thru SE Asia. The also have free bikes to use, which is great as you can do everything by bike in Hoi An.

The staff was absolutely exceptional - very kind and warm-hearted people, truly. Every section of the property was immaculate, and I felt 100% safe the entire time. The area is cozy, and the bike ride into town is a basic straight shot - perfect for someone who HATES cycling ;)

Only little inconvenience would be that the rooms (1st floor) are not soundproof and you can hear what’s going on downstairs. Also a dog in the neighborhood is barking at night. But overall we had a great stay and would 100% recommend!

Very friendly family, they help with everything (motorbike rental, transfer to and from airport/train station, train booking…) The location is ideal, in a calm area of town but very close to the old town and the beach. The rooms are huge and very clean, also very beautiful! The pool is clean and refreshing after a long day exploring.

Amazing hostel, social vibe, super friendly owners who make you feel at home, easy to communicate in English, you get a free bicycle. Around the corner is a fantastic vegetarian/vegan restaurant called peanuts. no reason to not book, just go.

Very clean and large dorms The shower is great as well and the view is cool, and in a chill area The hostel gives free bikes so you can be at the center in 10min or beach 15min There is only one share bedroom (5 beds) and the other rooms are private so it is a very chill hostel

As soon as we stepped into this hostel we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. The family are so accommodating and go out of their way to make your stay the best it can be! The rooms are very clean and cosy and the facilities are perfect, even includes free bicycle hire. Breakfast and coffee was delicious every morning, cannot fault a thing, we loved our stay.

They place is a little bit out of town, but with free bicycle hire thats no problem at all! Within 10 min you are in the city-centre and also the beach is an easy ride

The Location was a bit of the center. It took 30 min with bike to get to the center. And the beds where kinda hard.

The Hosts where the highlight. They gave me great advise and showed me a great place to get tailored cloths.

We had an amazing stay at Lazy Bear Hostel and felt very sad to leave. The owners are so helpful and friendly and you can tell they really enjoy looking after their guests. The free use of bikes made the location perfect, easy to get to both the Old Town and Beach with a short cycle. We could not recommend Lazy Bear enough.
