How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

wish they gave a 2nd towel and had more hooks out for clothing, but these are very small things
best hostel ive stayed at in terms of facilities. curtains are incredible for privacy and comfort. bathroom and room cleaned daily. lockers and bedside nightstand very convenient. decent AC in room. the bed was surprisingly comfy! right in midst of old quarter near beer street but tucked away. insane value! would stay here again without hesitation.

The host Le Phuc was very friendly and helpful. And the Hostel is in a good location and it's a great value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

Not every bed is great tho, like the central beds are good but the corner beds aren’t that great to stay
The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, the washrooms are nearby and easy to go and clean as well.

Staff
The place was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was also quite roomy. However, some of the dorm doors were broken and a bit noisy. That said, the overall atmosphere was quiet, and most of the travelers during my stay were respectful, which made it pleasant. They don’t offer early check-in, but you can leave your luggage at the reception and use the common washrooms while waiting, which was helpful. One important thing to note is that at night, the Old Quarter is closed off to taxis. So if you're carrying heavy luggage and aren’t a fan of walking, this could be a bit of a challenge. During my checkout, it was raining heavily, and I asked if they had an umbrella I could borrow to protect my luggage—but unfortunately, they didn’t have one. What disappointed me most was that none of the staff offered any help, even just to walk me through to a nearby spot to catch a taxi. I ended up arriving at the airport soaking wet. :(

Great location. Facilities were great. Happy hour with free beer was a great place to meet people. Bed was comfy. Would definitely recommend and I’d come back to stay again.

One of the best hostels I've ever slept in. The beds were really good, everything was very clean. The staff was super friendly and ready to help you with anything. Everything is close by, so I would definitely recommend spending your time here!

I stayed here for 4 nights. Bed very comfortable and hot shower. Nice facilities, big breakfast. Free beer at 6.30pm every evening. A nice vibe here, good location and a great price. Ocean, Nancy, Lee and Phuc are all very friendly and helpful. They organise all tours and help with everything. A very nice hostel.

The thing I didn’t like is the noise from the door when people open and close, maybe need to put some oil?, sometimes the door slammed so loud. Also the room didn’t have enough sound proof from party outside

It has a great location. In the middle of the Old Quarter but it’s in an alley so you don’t get disturbed by the noise at night. I stayed in a 6 bed female room with ensuite and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and they help you everytime

The team, especially ocean were so helpful after a nightmare travel trip. They provided everything needed. The bathrooms and beds were clean, the rooms pretty quiet. The breakfast was brilliant, I’d definitely recommend. Good price for what you get, as well as amazing location for trips.
