6 Bed Felale Dorm has one Ensuite Bath, if someone is in the Shower etc and you really have to use the Restroom you have to go another level of the Building.

I liked everything, the rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, there is a lift so it is easy to get to every floor. Staff was super friendly, especially one guy ( I don’t remember the name unfortunately) that was there when I arrived on Sunday at between 1and 2 am, every day if he was there he asked me how am I , and he was super friendly, and made my stay even better because I was feeling welcomed. Beside that the attractions that were organized by the hostel were nice, I haven’t been on any unfortunately but I heard from the friends I have made there that it was nice. The rooms were cleaned every day.

Comfy dorm room though a bit dark, good privacy in the beds, plenty of luggage storage space. The bathroom had a separate shower with a door so the entire bathroom didn’t get soaked whenever someone showered, warming my European heart.

The staff welcomed me so enthousiastically and warmly. I felt at home immediately. The hostel has everything you need, plus very soft beds and nice duvets. The reception helped organize a lot of the rest of my Vietnam trip and went above and beyond. A special shoutout to Nancy and Lee for being so kind and helpful. Great stay all over!!!

Would recommend the 6-bed room over the 4-bed since they are much more spacious! Nice social hostel, great value for breakfast. Everything was nest & clean!

It’s in the centre of everything, it’s clean and the hostel has a ton of free activities for its guests so even if you are solo and don’t have a clue on what to do you will definitely find something to keep yourself busy and even make friends. They have laundry service where your clothes come back smelling like fresh daisies. They also have many daily tours they can hook you up with. Nancy and Thang was extra helpful in arranging my Ha Giang loop trip and transports. Everyone is extremely friendly and go above and beyond to help you with anything you may need. Definitely recommend.

I have stayed at Old Quarter View numerous times over the years. From owner Mr. Dragon, to the stellar front desk staff led by Ocean and Nancy, this place is simply excellent.

Nothing, nothing comes to mind at all. I've never been this satisfied with a hostel or a mixed dorm room before

Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in! I compared all hostel reviews to meet this decision and the good reviews do not disappoint: This one is so clean and everything is provided without an additional cost: towel and 2 lockers, one cupboard and one locker above head. The sheets are already prepared after check out for the next person. It is not a party hostel but they have a happy hour where the beer is free in the reception (one can ask for a glass instead of a plastic cup if you're environmentally conscious). I stayed at the 6 person mixed dorm and everyone was so silent and respectful, no stench or disturbing sounds were present. The beds have privacy thanks to their own light and curtains. One can store luggage after check out and leave for exploring the city without worrying about their belongings.. The location is unbeatable, just know that grab drop off or car access is not always possible and a small walking distance may be necessary. Prices are very affordable for the great service. Would have loved to stay more and will definitely choose here when I am back in Hanoi.

This was probably very individual for that day I guess: 1 hr before check out the dorm was already being cleaned so if you wanna rest before your travel you can do only in the community area. The sink in the restroom got new silicone but there was no sign, was a golden glittery one and now it’s all over my bathroom case ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ A bit intense to reach or leave the area in the evening/night hours - very crowded party area Would stay there again anyway.

Second time I stayed - again: very clean bathroom in a good condition, cozy bed, friendly staff, many breakfast options for 50k. My bed light was not working and immediately got replaced. I got hot water for my own tea bag for free.

Stayed in a very nice dorm on the 2nd floor with a balcony - comfy bed, showers and toilets very clean and in a good condition. Nice little community area to rest with a little travelers library, many breakfast options for 50k. Helpful & friendly staff - even when I mixed sth up they stayed very friendly <3

Great initiative to offer free beer in happy hour, but beer could be better!

Great hostel, rooms/ bathrooms super clean and beds comfy, best location, attentive staff, little library with plenty of books. Vibe is chill, not a party hostel, which I appreciate, but there are still opportunities to meet people if you like. I stayed here in my first days in Vietnam and coming back to the hostel in my last night felt a bit like coming home :)

A great place to meet other travellers while experiencing the characteristic old-quarter of Hanoi. Beds are soft and comfy, bathrooms were good. It was all clean and Fuc did a great job at the walking tour! The breakfast isn't that great in my opinion, nor is the coffee, but it's convenient if you don't want to explore better options outside. The place is well run and everything is good, but it's also the most expensive hostel I've stayed in in Vietnam, by far. Arguably you could get a private room for less than a dorm bed here, but that might not always be what you're looking for as a solo traveller.

It is a really good place if you want to stay in the middle of Old Quarter. I spent only a couple nights just to stop in Hanoi and it was really comfortable. Although the surrounding area is really chaotic, you don’t really notice it once getting into the building. Very well isolated from the noises.

I loved my stay at the old quarter view and I kept turning to them for help/information during my trip which I always received (thanks Nancy!).The staff in general was always so nice and helpfull! The Quiz night with Shelly was super fun, she did a great job! Thank you guys :)) Also the beds are comfy and the bathrooms where clean during my stay :) because of all the activities you can join and the common area it is a very good place to meet people and make new friends :)) So even though it is a little bit more pricy than other accommodations in Hanoi, I would recommend staying there, especially when you just arrived to Vietnam and need a friendly environment to settle in!

Great atmosphere, the most gentle and helpful personnel. The hostel is located it the very center of Hanoi, it is easy to get around. The dormitories are a bit small but comfortable.
