Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomBreakfast selection not as good as other hotels we have stayed at in Vietnam. Very few vegetarian options. Very thin doors to the rooms which meant it could be very noisy at night if there are people talking in the hallway area.
Lovely, clean, and well maintained rooms and bathroom. Bottle of water provided each day. The rooftop pool is also lovely with plenty of comfortable sun loungers although the rooftop bar is not currently open.

United KingdomSince 99%+ of the guests are Asian, the breakfast is catered for them. So, not really for the western palate, there are eggs and toast available with fresh fruit if you really want to eat there, but a short distance away there is a superb bakery. The room doors need a bit of maintenance, as they don't fit inside the door frame so they require slamming which you can hear quite loudly from all the other doors on the same floor.
The bed was extremely comfortable, with very good pillows, and the air conditioning worked so well, so combined, I had some of the best night sleeps I've ever had...staff were very friendly and helpful too. It's location is very central, very close to the beach, just a short 5 min walk or so, and there are so many places to eat, get massages and convenience stores all within a stones throw from the hotel. The roof top has a nice pool, you can actually swim in it, as it's not tiny, and the views are very nice of the city from up there. Not that I had a chance to watch it too much, but the TV has some great channels to boot.

South AfricaWhat we didn’t enjoy was the breakfast. For example, the rice porridge was watery every single day, which was disappointing as it’s something I usually look forward to. Most of the food was also cold, which really affected the overall experience. With warmer dishes and more authentic Vietnamese rice porridge, the breakfast could be amazing. Additionally, the Wi-Fi wasn’t strong enough to use on our phones or laptops, and the rooms were noticeably older than what was shown in the photos on the booking site.
The best part was how close it was to the beach, with amazing restaurants all around the hotel. Plus, the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

South AfricaCleaning is not up to standard. The hotel is graded as a 4 Star Hotel but in reality the facilities and services are 3 star. The is a school few metres from the hotel and in the morning it’s noisy from the singing and announcements.
Is closer to the beach.

PolandWe arrived at 7 AM and had to wait until just 5 minutes before the official check-in time to get our room – quite disappointing, especially with small kids after a long journey. The pool area was underwhelming: very limited space, only a few sunbeds and umbrellas, and not nearly as nice as shown in photos. The pool itself was small, and the water was too cold for our children to enjoy. Breakfast was also disappointing – 90% of the selection was Asian, and the European options (baguettes, cucumbers, tomatoes, eggs, and a few fruits) were repetitive and uninspiring. Noise was an issue: we could hear people walking and talking in the corridor right outside our room, often waking us up around 6 or 7 AM. Staff were polite but struggled with English, which made communication difficult at times.
The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from the beach, which made it easy to enjoy the seaside with our kids. Right next to the hotel is Kop Spa – hands down the best massages we had during our entire trip in Vietnam. Highly recommended! Our apartment was clean and had a spacious bathroom. The air conditioning worked well, and there was always hot water available. Though we had to wait a long time for our room, the hotel did allow us to store our luggage in the lobby and use the pool area while waiting. Overall, the hotel had a few highlights – mainly the location, spa, and clean room – but also several areas that left us underwhelmed, especially in terms of service, breakfast, and amenities. With some improvements, it could be a much better option for families.

GermanyWhen I had booked the room, I received several emails from the hotel. They asked when I will check in. As I didn't know my arrival time yet, I did not answer. This resulted in getting more emails. Then I replied, that I don't know my arrival time and I was very irritated. I asked them if the reception will be unoccupied, or why they need to know my exact arrival time. They said the reception is always occupied. On the day of my check in, I wanted to check in at 2pm. But the room was not even ready by that time. :( Then check out, I had paid at the check in and therefore handed over the room card and wanted to leave. The receptionist told me, I have to wait until they have checked my room. Which is where I come from (Europe), not common. You should tell the customers this, when they check in, because then they would know. If I had known, then I would have checked out and then gone and eaten breakfast after the check out. Breakfast was a buffet, but it was extremely hard to tell the ingredients. As it wasn't labelled with the allergen signs. That would be a suggestion to the hotel, to labelled the allergens. So I only ate fruits and drunk coffee to be safe.
Bathroom was nice and bed was comfy. Also the room was very clean, although I had a mosquito in my room, even though the window was always closed. I didn't have that in other hotels.

United KingdomThe wi-fi needs to be updated, someone needs to be available at the pool side as it is unmanned and not safe if children are playing.
The room was big and comfy, breakfast was busy and limited in offerings unless you request. Staff are ok and polite. The pool was clean and cold (not heated), when they say window is part sea facing it means you have a very small view! The wifi was poor, kept dropping off. The Bun Mao van is almost 24 hours along the main road and can be heard all the way in the room.

United KingdomRoom was very good ( keeping number a secret as we will be back and don’t want to find it booked 😃.) Receptionists were very friendly, up for a laugh and always a great smile. Security guys were the same. Can’t fault the cleaners either. Breakfast was very good, pho, egg station, fruits, Asian dishes etc. Pool was amazing but bar remained closed, understandable as few people used pool which was good for us. Once you find your bearings the hotel is the perfect place to stay in our opinion.

AustraliaAll I can say was good enough, bed was comfortable, pillows comfortable and some places they can be terrible.
Average breakfast from a westerner point of view. No bacon. Oriaentated more towards Asians. Good enough for the price they were charging. Probably noticed it more as I can from a 5 star resort in Hoi An where my room was a loft room. Breakfast was excellent there as expected but price was more than double.

Good value for money. Hotel had everything we needed. Scooter rental next door with better prices than in the city (d130). Swimming pool was a bit abandoned but we felt very good at the room. Good breakfast (mainly Asian style but this is why you visit another countries, eh?). It wasn’t monotonous for us as some other people stated.
