The room was more than we expected, more like an apartment with kitchen and also a washer and dryer. It was spacious and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. Offering a sun terrace, Minerva Residence is located in Cadegliano Viconago in the Lombardy Region, 9 km from Lugano. Free private parking is available on site. had a wonderful stay. The view was absolutely stunning, the place was spotlessly clean, and the facilities exceeded all expectations. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout.

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

Loved that the apartment was in the old town just off the main square, so great for exploring the town but also close to walk to the lake front. There is a supermarket close by in the square. The apartment was very spacious, very comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything necessary. The host was very helpful and went out of her to help us find the parking when we got lost which we so appreciated.

The place was clean, quiet, good access to spa and gym facilities. The views were spectacular from our room and all around the hotel. Parking was good and air con was great.
