The view from the wall to wall windows is wonderful. Cecila, who delivers breakfast everyday, is very kind and helpful. There is a restaurant next door and other places to eat along the waterfront.

Featuring free bike rental, Palafito Verde Apart Hotel offers self-catering apartments in Castro. Free WiFi access is available. The place and views and bed and everything was just amazing. I think it was larger than most other rooms I've stayed in for the price range. I will most probably stay at this place again next time I'm visiting Castro, Chiloé.

It was great staying at one of the famous palafitos in Castro - everything was perfect. Top front row to the river, well equipment, clean, a lot of space, beautiful bathroom, TV with Netflix etc., not far away from center, nice and helpful staff (also speaking English).

Located in Castro, Hostal Plaza Chiloe provides free WiFi and sea views, 200 metres from Church of San Francisco. The place is 1 block away from the central plaza, where the restaurants and shops concentrate. It had a good shower, with hot water and a hair dryer. I was never cold, because I had an electric heater and an oil stove.
