We liked the fact that it is less than 10 mins walk from the trainstation (where also the airport bus drops you!), that it is high above the streets (so even in the middle of town, very little noise) and that there was coffee available 24/24 with nice croissants in the morning. Also the complimentary cookies in the room were very welcome.

Wilde Aparthotels by Staycity, Grassmarket is located at the foot of Edinburgh Castle, within easy reach of the famous Royal Mile and many of the main attractions of the city. First of all, the hotel room was bigger than we expected. I don't know if it was bigger because we upgraded or if it was the normal room. But it was almost the size of a small house. The staff was very helpful. The hotel and rooms were generally very clean. There were all kinds of kitchenware, a refrigerator, an oven and even a dishwasher. The hotels we usually stay in rarely exceed our expectations. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations! And I must say that the shampoo and shower gel that smelled like sage were wonderful. I wish there was a section in the hotel where you sell these products. Maybe there was, but I didn't see it. I would buy it if I saw it.

Located 3 minutes' walk from Princes Street, The Edinburgh Grand features apartment accommodation with an on-site restaurant, bar and coffee house. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property. Miss Joy was very helpful and kind and accommodated our requests to change the room. She also always gave us good advice with questions about transport or visiting monuments. She is the person in the right place!

Set in Edinburgh, Haymarket Apartments offers free WiFi and city views, a 4-minute walk from EICC. Each apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, toaster and coffee machine. Decoration is outstanding and the friendly welcome was very much appreciated. Alastair gave us several tips and indications of good restaurants in town. His availability to solve a little problem was also perfect and responsive. We can only recommend this experience.

We just had a one night stopover here but it was such great accommodation. Clean, spacious, comfy beds and perfectly located. Very accommodating and helpful host too!
