Phoenix Thermal Resort - Taupo se nachází v malebné růžové zahradě, 2 minuty chůze od jezera Taupo a 20 minut chůze od centra města Taupo. Na letiště Taupo je to 2,7 km. I was visiting for Ironman and it was perfect accommodation. I arrived early and was able to get an early checkin no problem. The photos on line do not do justice to this place. Everything is in good order. Comfortable, clean. Plenty of room and no worries. Next time we will stay longer.

The location was great with an amazing view of the lake and just what my wife and I needed on our honeymoon. It was great as a jumping off point to visit the surrounding areas like Lake Taupo itself and Tongariro National Park as we visited various Lord of the Rings filming locations surrounding and on the volcanoes. The room was clean and very spacious, with one of the largest bathrooms in our three week's staying all across New Zealand.

Set 40 km from Orakei Korako - The Hidden Valley, Sacred Waters Taupo offers an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. Loved the space in the 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment, the underfloor heating, balcony with hot tub, swimming pool (39 degrees). It was quiet with good parking facilities and easy access to Lake Taupo.
