Located in Ohakune at the foothills of Mt Ruapehu, Rocky Mountain Chalets Ohakune provides accommodation with free WiFi, mountain views, and access to 2 hot tubs and a sauna. Clean, tidy and had all the essential facilities. We stayed here for 2 nights to complete the tongariro alpine crossing. The spa pool and sauna is a must try after a long hiking stay.

Central Square Hotel offers centrally located apartments with satellite TV and a DVD player. Guests enjoy a variety of cafés, shops and restaurants in The Square directly opposite the property. Doug and his off sider were fantastic, so welcoming. We were in Palmy for the Barbershop Harmony competition. We showed Doug a video of us singing and he brought 10 people along to the Saturday night concert and was blown away with the talent. Even got a hug goodbye.
