The host was fine and the helper who let us in was very much appreciated. The only difficulty is that the wifi signal in this part of the world is variable and their well-timed messages had not arrived by the time we got there. Lovely quiet town with a small port and fish-processing plants. There is a fabulous restaurant at one of the hotels and, unusually, a great beer bar in town.

The unit was so beautiful and homely! It was so well equipped with everything you needed. There was a gazebo in the backyard (for use) and extensions happening with a pizza oven & BBQ. Owner was lovely and 2 dogs gorgeous.

We absolutely loved our here ! Amazing location with lovely views from each window. Even though the apartment was attached to the main house- it was still completely private. The neighbour was extremely friendly & helpful as was the owner with any queries we had. The apartment is renovated, beds extremely comfortable as is the whole apartment. Previous comments by others mentioned the water being smelly however we did not find this. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Iceland.
