My primary reason for selecting this hotel was its excellent proximity to the Learning Crossroads at UOttawa, a convenient 15-minute walk for my conference. I also appreciated being within walking distance of numerous restaurants. Beyond the great location, I was very pleased with how clean the room was, and the friendly and helpful service I received during check-in truly stood out.
This privately owned inn is 15 minutes drive from downtown Ottawa and a 10-minute drive from Ottawa Macdonald-Cartier International Airport.

The place looked very attractive as we pulled in. It seemed like a 1950s/1960s motel, which we liked. A few items on the property seemed not well kept up, but most of the facility were very well cared for. It was a fun and enjoyable stop.
This bed & breakfast features rooms with access to free Wi-Fi and provides guests with a daily hot breakfast. The property is adjacent to the Voyageur Bus Terminal.
For travelers who enjoy beauty in the simple things, a bed and breakfast (B&B) is the perfect place for a getaway. Hosts welcome guests into their homes and provide a private room and complimentary breakfast. Bathrooms might be shared by other guests, and there's usually shared space with the host.

We felt like we had a journey in time. The B&B was a great place to relax and have peace. Sandy (the dog) was a great companion. The breakfast was great, the room was comfortable. What else a person can ask for?

Spacious, clean, rooms with lovely bathrooms. Very private and quiet. Great gym and games room, plenty of onsite space to leave your luggage before / after checkout and all the staff were very nice. Checking in / out was SO easy and the Sonder app is just great - will absolutely use Sonder again.
This charming, quaint house has a lot of personality, as do the exceptionally friendly hosts Pierre and Chantal. We liked everything about our stay - amazing breakfast (omelettes, crepes, fresh fruit and more!), and lovely mornings and evenings relaxing on the front porch! Plus super central location close to Byward market and easy walking distance to many sites and parks.
Thank you Pierre for all the insights and advice about Ottawa. We’d love to stay here again on our next visit!
We came to visit Ottawa and opted to stay out of the city centre in order to see the rest of Ottawa and chose this lovely basement unit with 1.5 bathrooms. It is about a 30-minute drive to the city centre but we didn't mind. This unit had all the necessary stuff (basic toiletries, kitchen utensils, etc.) we needed during our 3-night stay. It is close to a shopping centre, gas station, and restaurants, so it is pretty much at a great location. Definitely recommended for families and small groups!
This is a great value hotel. Clean room, friendly staff, good breakfast, close to the city center. The room rate is surprisingly cheap. Will definitely stay here again.
Easily the best overall stay out of our 4 hotels in Canada (and best value! We stayed in early October 2023), including IHG Holiday Inn in Downtown Toronto and Travelodge by Wyndhams in Montreal. Comfortable bed, sparkling clean, excellent breakfast included in the price, helpful, kindly and efficient staff, great location just outside Byward Market area but quiet, room included a kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, microwave. Rooms and communal areas nicely decorated with paintings etc following a 'blue' theme.
