Lovely space with amazing views. Bed was comfortable and room was clean! Breakfast spread was good as well. Its abit of an upslope climb if you are not driving and may not be as elderly friendly - but will definitely recommend if you are coming here for a vacation with a young crowd!

The owner and manager and the chef all made us very welcome. They were extremely helpful and really went out their way to make our visit memorable. Our dinner was excellent and our chef obviously took pride in his work. Great selection of food for breakfast. The view from our room was breathtaking!!

I absolutely loved the breakfast—healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The staff were all incredibly kind, polite, respectful, and helpful. Yesterday, since I had to check out early and wouldn’t have time for breakfast, they even prepared my meal the night before so I could take it with me and enjoy it on the train. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot. Every member of the team—from the cleaners to the food servers and front desk and facility manager—was consistently friendly and accommodating. They replaced my towels daily, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel’s location is fantastic: just steps away from the train station, with a stunning lake view in front and breathtaking mountains in the back. If I ever return to Switzerland, I’ll definitely choose to stay there again.

The location is beautiful at Gasthaus Brunig, and the views are unbeatable. It was a nice spacious room, clean and very nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant was delish for evening meals.
