Excellent sunset and sunrise spots, quite after cable car stop running after 5-6pm, you could have the moutain all by yourself. Very beautiful mountains, very relaxing, various levels of hiking available. The croissant is excellent. Breakfast is good.

The view from the balcony facing the Elgar is one of the best views we are taking back from our Swiss trip !! Sandra at the reception was super helpful. Excellent room and vibes.. would highly recommend a stay here. Definitely staying here when we travel to Grindelwald next !

Lovely space with amazing views. Bed was comfortable and room was clean! Breakfast spread was good as well. Its abit of an upslope climb if you are not driving and may not be as elderly friendly - but will definitely recommend if you are coming here for a vacation with a young crowd!

The staff was fantastic and the hotel was in a very good location. Close to the town center, shops and restaurants. Room was fine, a bit small but I guess it’s normal in town like that.

The owner and manager and the chef all made us very welcome. They were extremely helpful and really went out their way to make our visit memorable. Our dinner was excellent and our chef obviously took pride in his work. Great selection of food for breakfast. The view from our room was breathtaking!!
