I never expected a hotel like this in the Black Forest to have such spectacular tasting food, but it did. The presentation was out of this world and the taste fantastic. I would highly recommend this place.

Frau Ursala was so sweet and helpful. We wanted an immersive experience and got it. The room was cozy and comfortable and it was nice being close to the waterfall, castle, and other sites. We liked having a balcony next to the brook. It's not fancy but perfect for a "real" German feel. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

    The location was perfect over the hill and very close to the city center- Triberg, around 2km. You can take your car or go for a walk. You get a nice view of the hills from the house. Perfect for a family with kids. The hosts were very good and kind to talk to us about the sightseeing points and plans. They are easily approachable and helpful. We would surely like to stay here when we plan another visit to Triberg.

    Excellent breakfast. We also tried the black forest cake here in the evening and it was so yummy. Beds were very comfortable. There was one private parking space that we were able use for free. If that’s already taken, paid parking is nearby. Rooms and restaurant are in two separate buildings, but it’s only a 5-10 minute walk between the two buildings. Just the sound of flowing waterfall stream without even leaving the room is so relaxing. Great location.

    Great location and really helpful staff. Very cheap by today’s standards. The patio at the front of the hotel is great for a drink, a meal or watching the world go by. Would definitely stay there again.
