Hotel Karolina is wonderfully located in the heart of the prettiest town on the Snaefellnase Peninsula. The guesthouse is beautifully decorated while preserving some of the old architectural details. Breakfast was very well presented and we departed full and satisfied.

The cabin is located on a peaceful little lake, near the Helgafell mountain, which takes 15 minutes to walk up to the top for a great view! Located 5-minute drive from the nearest town that has gas stations, grocery store, etc. The cabin was fully equipped for cooking - very comfortable and modern. We really enjoyed it!

Very comfortable beds! The host was fantastic and very hospitable. She made us a nice late night snack and breakfast spread in the morning. A great place to stay if you intend on sleeping there for one night. Shared bathroom was clean.
