The breakfast was the best one we had in 2 weeks in Austria. They had fruits as well as egg hams, local cheese and home-made marmalade. They also adapted to my gluten free diet without a problem. They made local recommendations about where to hike and where to eat. Very nice couple!

What an amazing place! Maria and Peter were the best hosts I've had at any hotel / accommodation, ever. Peter greeted us as we parked up and instantly we built a rapport. His wife Maria and daughter also greeted us, showing us around their lovely hotel. We had a beer taking in the amazing scenery before unpacking, having showers and then getting ready for dinner. The food was spectacular, the best Semmelknodel I've ever had (was my first, but gee was it great!). The atmosphere was fantastic. The rooms were characterful, everything was super clean. I cannot say one bad thing - the whole experience was so memorable. You must stay here to experience it all. Unforgettable. Thank you Peter and Maria, you are lovely people and work so hard! I'll be back.

The location was beautiful with a great view of the mountains and pleasant outdoor sitting areas in lovely gardens. The breakfast was beyond plentiful, varied, and delicious. If on foot, a bit too far and uphill for getting there from the train station with luggage, but a nice walk to and from town for sightseeing. Small fridge and teas available for snacking.
