Solo Nunes is set in Manaus, 12 km from Manaus Courthouse, 12 km from Amazon Theatre, and 12 km from Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Even though I had to pay for the breakfast since it wasn't included on the price, it was very good breakfast. I also love that the husband's owner drove me to a convenient store to get some fruits.

The Place was beautiful, close to nature. the host was helpful, nice and provided good recommendations for things to do In town.

LUZ AMAZÔNIA LODGE is situated in Iranduba. This guest house features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The guest house offers river views, a terrace and a 24-hour front desk. We were in a newly built hub which is one of the community‘s buildings. The atmosphere was very welcoming and as though being part of the community.

POUSADA BAWARY is set in São Gabriel da Cachoeira and features a garden. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Breakfast was fresh and slightly different every morning with delicious (fascinating) fruit from the garden or gathered nearby. Rooms were spacious with excellent desks and chairs and wardrobes, beds were comfortable, bathrooms and sheets spotless and a wonderful garden. Excellent wifi. Best of all - the perfect and supremely welcoming hosts.

Vista do Lago Jungle Lodge is a recently renovated guest house in Cajual, where guests can makes the most of its pool with a view, garden and bar. What a fantastic time we had staying at the lodge. We hired a brilliant English speaking guide and a boat pilot for the week through the lodge (additional to the accommodation costs) and they organised an itinerary to tour the local area and beyond. The food was great and varied (beef/chicken/pork/fish etc), including local fish that we caught in the day. It was amazing to live in the riverside community if only for a week, and we hope to come back in the wet season when the water is higher and the landscape has changed.

Refúgio Samauma features a garden, private beach area, a restaurant and bar in Manaus. The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the location is just at the heart of the rainforest, which was exactly what I was looking for. Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Casa 307 is located in Manaus, 200 metres from Amazon Theatre and less than 1 km from Church of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Great location, steps away from the amazonas theater and plenty of restaurant options . Amazing breakfast!

Boasting a garden and views of lake, Pousada Paraíso do Calango Azul is a recently renovated guest house situated in Presidente Figueiredo, 17 km from Amazon Acqua Park. Absolutely awesome service and very comfortable rooms. Lovely location and delicious food made to order. The nearby small waterfalls were beautiful and a dip in the refreshing water after days adventures in surrounding areas was a perfect ending for an awesome visit. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with authentic regional cuisine. 100% recommend this place!
