This family-run bed and breakfast enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Interlaken, 1 km from both train stations. It offers a large garden and free WiFi location. We loved our stay! It was cozy and comfortable and offered all the basic amenities needed for a smooth experience. Our room had a beautiful view of Harder Kulm. What made the stay even more wonderful was the host, Mr. Armin. He was so welcoming, kind and polite.He helped us with everything we asked for. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a nice,homely stay!

The view from our room was beautiful over the church bells and the snowed mountains. Very beautiful views from the room and the balcony. Excellent breakfast, the allowed us to have friends not staying at the hotel to join us for breakfast.

Built in typical Swiss chalet style and a 10-minute walk from the centre of Interlaken, the traditional Hotel Sonne Interlaken-Matten offers en-suite rooms with cable TV and a tea/coffee maker. We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel changed our beds 3 time during our stay. This is very unusual for a 3* Hotel. We loved the chocolates and the cookies in the hallway. They were replenished very timely. All staff was very courteous and well mannered. The beds were comfortable and the bath even though small in size was very therapeutic for my back pain and the force of the shower was incomparable - never seen one of those in a hotel. Very comfortable stay and Beautiful views from the balcony.
