You were with family. Willie and his family were great to stay with! He had great insight on the area and things to do. Places to see. Breakfast was great in the mornings as we hung out on the balcony. Loved the hammock!! Wifi was great as long as the power was on. It’s in a rural quieter part of capurgana. You definitely get the authentic Colombian experience. We enjoyed are week stay:) I’m gonna miss it and look forward to a return visit:)

De cara frente a la playa en Bahía Solano, Refugio Mr Jerry Eco House cuenta con una terraza. La casa de huéspedes tiene habitaciones familiares. Todas las unidades incluyen ropa de cama. My favourite place in Colombia. The hostel is perfectly situated on a beautiful beach and run by Adrian and Lina who are very kind and always on hand to help. They offer trips to see the waterfalls, turtles and, most importantly, to go whale watching. The dorms are clean, comfortable and well presented. I'd recommend Mr Jerry to anyone wanting a glimpse of paradise.

The Humpback Turtle tiene un jardín, zona de playa privada, un salón compartido y terraza en El Valle. One of the best hostels I have stayed at in Colombia! The location is spectacular and on the beach. I enjoyed my morning walking along the shore. The breakfasts are my favorite meal of the day, they are different every morning and the cooks are creative with the food types and tons of flavor. So many great tours offered. We did the whale watching tour and the baby turtle release. Both were amazing and unforgettable. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The public kitchen was great for making meals. H ighly recommended overall.

The Pelican House Hostel cuenta con un gimnasio, jardín, una terraza y bar en El Valle. El hospedaje tiene una cocina compartida y WiFi gratis. Beautiful place with lots of nature around. Staff was excellent and very accommodating and made sure we had plenty to do and see while we were there!

El establecimiento The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) está ubicado en El Valle-Bahía Solano, admite mascotas y se halla frente a la playa. Location - best view in town of Playa Almejal. Lots of comfy nooks with different views. Monica was an excellent host and took care of all our needs. The cats and dog were an extra bonus!

I can’t recommend this place enough. It was the highlight of my trip to Colombia. The perfect place to stay if you look for tranquility and pure nature. Mecana is such and beautiful beach, and Sky and Sand is the most special place to stay at. Luisa made my stay just perfect. Her smile and love for nature are contagious, and her meals are delicious. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful stay. And the activities offered were a great way to experience everything that Mecana has to offer. I wished I could have stayed longer!
