This Alpine-style hotel is located in Rottau, 4 km from Lake Chiemsee. Gasthof Fischstüberl offers spacious rooms, free WiFi and a balcony offering panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps. We stayed for one night at this charming family pension in Rottau while traveling back home from Croatia, and it was a lovely experience. The place was clean and comfortable, providing exactly what we needed for a restful stopover. Although the pension’s restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, the host was incredibly helpful and directed us to a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice. The next morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast in the pension’s restaurant, which set us up nicely for the rest of our journey.

Spacious, clean apartment in a quiet environment. The bed is very comfortable; the kitchen has all the necessary equipment. There is enough parking space; if you have bikes, a garage is available. I have never met such a kind and helpful hostess. Since we were in the apartment, we didn't order breakfast, but in the morning, in addition to freshly baked pastries, the hostess set us up with milk for coffee and various spreads.
