The Mango guest house was an incredible and authentic experience in Elephantine Island. The staff, the facilities and the settings were fantastic. The staff arranged everything what we asked for: a car from Luxor, a trip to Abu Simbel, food delivery and a felucca sailing trip. It’s not for everybody, though. If you’re a 5-star hotel frequent visitor, this is not for you.

The host and his family are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds soft. Would recommend it to anyone going to Aswan!

The airport pickup service took us to the Nile where we boarded a private boat to the hotel as it was on Elephantine Island. I was in communication with them via WhatsApp before we arrived and they answered all my questions. Mohamed and Baki carried our 4 suitcases from the boat a short walk to the hotel and after we went to our room greeted us on the rooftop patio with hibiscus drinks. They were very friendly. The island was an unexpected surprise and although the dirt walking paths seemed odd we realized that we were in a real Nubian village. They have their own language and the island has a maze of walking paths. We used google maps to find the Aswan Museum which was a very large archeological site with great views of the Aga Khan Tomb across the Nile. We passed old woman dressed in black knitting traditional hats and had small children follow us around. After the museum we stopped at a shop and were invited into a family sitting area as we drank 3 soft drinks we ordered. Mohammed the store owner was so friendly. If you want a real Nubian Experience that really adds to your trips enjoyment I recommend King Mena. We only stayed one night as we came a day early for our Aswan to Luxor cruise and their boat even took us right to our cruise ship and helped us find it among the 20 odd ships docked 4 deep on the shore of the Nile. I recommend King Mena for the experience. The room was a triple as needed 3 beds and the bathroom was large and the water hot and Mohammed the chef proudly made a great breakfast.

The host and his wife that runs the Guest House are super helpfull. The room is recently build, so everything is very new, from bed sheets, towels to AC. AC is perfect. There is also a balcony on the top either a virw to the Nile and artificial grass, so you can just chill at the floor at the sunset. The water pressure and temperature of the shower is very good. There is a 24h boat that runs every 5minutes to the city and back, so no worries if you arrive late, I arrived at 02am and It was so easy to check in. They are amazing hosts. The Nubian Village where the Guest House is is clean and very humble. It is indeed a unique and humble experience in Aswan. I recommend so much. Go with your hearts open and will be a incredible experience.

The location is good as it’s directly in front of the the ferry and overlooks Nile river. The place is new and well-furnished. The owner “Ahmed” is really supportive and helped to arrange my activities. The bathroom is small but it’s clean and well-equipped

Walking distance there’s Jamaica king restaurant in the island was super nice vibes, also here you can take a boat 10 pound to the city side, the Nubian musieum very close by, the famous sofiel hotel very close by.

Eraranna ja merevaatega La Terrace on hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemaja, mis asub Aswanis, 23 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Majutusasutusest avaneb vaade järvele ja jõele. Everything was perfect, the location just a minute away the public ferry, the incredible terrace with breathtaking view over the Nile, spotless clean big room, etc. There was even a sandstorm the night before and when we arrived you couldn't see a grain of sand. Best of all is Mohammed, the owner, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all we need. He arrange for someone to come and pick up my heavy suitcase as I was traveling alone with children, organized a really nice captain to visit the Nubian village, etc. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Amazing location on the water about 15 mins walk to the temple complex. Very comfortable accommodation with large bedroom and bathroom. Wonderful sitting and breakfast area over the water watching the boats going to Sudan. Great breakfast but really the best part was the host and his family. English speaking they gave us some tips, some special tea for my unwell partner and drove us to an excellent Nubian restaurant. Fast wifi. A great stay.

Airkela Nuba Dool2 asub Aswanis Nubiani muuseumi lähedal, 23 km kaugusel Aga Khani mausoleumist. Kohapeal on järvevaatega terrass, erarand ja aed. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on terrass. Great location - 1 min from the ferry dock. The warmth of the hosts, everyone was always welcoming. My wife was unwell for a day, they always asked about her and cared for her. Nice breakfast (additional 150 EGP). Beautiful views. The room was cleaned everyday and bed linen was changed (which was wonderful). Great shower pressure.
