The Prince of Wales overlooks the beach of Greve de Lecq, one of Jersey's most beautiful bays, with its sandy beach and wonderful views over Sark and the nearby French coast.

Some of the hotel’s rooms have a private patio and sea view. We wanted a quiet couple of days on Jersey before joining a tour so I chose a seaside spot well away from St Helier. The taxi driver who took us there told us, "There is nothing there!" He was wrong. We love being outdoors- the weather was perfect. We had a brilliant view from our room. The hotel was old and interesting. We took the spectacular clifftop walk to fabulous Plémont beach (found the giant puffin statues by accident - wow) on the 1st day and went on a longer but easier walk high on the cliffs to Devil's Hole the next. Lovely lunch at the inn there. Wildflowers everywhere.
