We enjoyed our stay in Merdeka Guesthouse very much and actually extended it two times. The host is incredibly friendly and gave lots of helpful recommendations as well as a snack sometimes, the room nicely equipped and clean. Definitely recommend!

Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. Perfect little gem, we would go back anytime, the owners are so friendly and helpful, the outside area is amazing, you see monkeys from the terrace almost every day. We loved this place! Make sure you hire a car from Kuching, not only to get to Nanga Damai but also to explore the area, it's worth it and driving is easy, not much traffic at all. If you are fit and like hiking, Mount Santubong is waiting for you :) and the "Blue Pool" is a nice loop, as well. Kuching Wetlands by boat is fun and there's a lot more! ENJOY

The family is extremely nice, they really make you feel at home. We did fishing together in their garden ponds and we went together to the hot springs. They even brought us to the grocery store to get some supplies. A really great place to stay, they're trying to make the best of their life and they are very kind in doing it. The food was great, and they go out of their way to make it nice to stay. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Larapan Water Village 仙本那乐乐棒水屋 is located in Semporna. The accommodation provides free shuttle service and full-day security for guests. The accommodation is non-smoking. We stayed two nights at the water bungalow resort. We are so delighted for the free transportation between the Tawau airport and other hotel despite we did not check-in on the first day upon our arrival to Semporna. All staff of the resort were very nice and helpful. The resort was new and spacious with marvelous view. Sea water there is crystal clear and transparent like glass. The resort provided three meals per day. Dinner was exceptionally delicious with amazing seafood.

The location was peaceful and scenic, surrounded by nature. The container-style design was unique and cozy, and the outdoor seating area was a nice touch to enjoy the cool Kundasang air. Will definitely stay here again next time and bring my whole family to stay here.
