The hosts are absolutely wonderful -such a lovely family that make you feel right at home! The food is delicious. And the rooms and communal areas are really clean and well kept, with lovely little snacks available like bananas and little bread rolls with tea/coffee.

Great roof terrace to watch the sunset and the best bed I slept in the whole of Flores! the staff were fabulous.

Paul and his staff are wonderful hosts who took really good care of us. he organized a boat trip to the 17 Islands and also provided us with a simple, but tasty dinner. The rooms are clean, aircon works well, and there is plenty of privacy if you want it but also opportunity to chat to the other travelers staying here. The garden is also cute!

Blue Parrot is located 5 minutes' walk from Labuan Bajo Harbour. Guests can travel to the beautiful Komodo Island located a 20-minute speed boat ride from the harbour. We chose the blue Parrot as our base to start our day trip to Komodo from here. We experienced a very warm welcome by our host. He has been very supportive and gave great advice for restaurants and organized taxi etc. The joint breakfast room offers a stunning view and the entire place was very clean, all stuff was extremely friendly. Breakfast is simple. Location is slightly uphill but in walking distance to all major points of interest in that small city of Labuan Bajo.

We had a great time here, would definitely recommend to join the 17 Islands Tour with the host! Great room, big shower, lovely personnel, nice breakfast.

Great host, amazing homestay! We stayed for one night, but wished we could stay longer. The homestay is close to Transflores road, but you dont hear the traffic, and also few minutes driving to Ruteng, looking down the valley. Phillipo (the owner) is very nice. He welcomed us, prepared for us delicious dinner. Next morning we enjoyed amazing sunrise from the room, and we were given tasty breakfast. Simple and clean homestay, close to Ruteng. In the next days Phillipo helped us with tips and by sharing his contacts on Flores, as he used to work in tourism. Without him we couldnt have organised Komodo boat tour, as we were too late to take the classic tours. On top of everything, he speaks english very well, so we could ask everything we wanted to know about the island. Thank you, Phillipo!

It’s located away from the main tourist area but if that doesn’t bother you there’s a good restaurant + local market nearby. It has everything you need. Highly recommend.
