We arrived quite late in the evening but Rani and Oussama made us feel really welcome from the start. The room has a comfortable bed, is lovingly furnished and is very clean. The views from the house are lovely. We booked the shorter tour to Gunung Bromo through Maison Manendra and that was very well organised and a nice surprise because the chosen route avoids most of the crowds (especially for the sunrise). The food shared around the big table on the rooftop terrace was always fresh and delicious and we had some very nice conversations with the other guests and also Rani and Oussama.

I think this is the best Homestay we’ve stayed at our entire time traveling through SE Asia. The property is so well done, homey and high quality and such a good value. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel like family, from early check ins at 6am after long night trains to dropping you off at the bus station they miss no small detail to make you feel at home.

Staff were so lovely and kind, allowed me an early check in as I was riding from Jember on my bicycle and needed to store it somewhere before check in - instead they let me settle in early. Rohmat helped me with some activities as I was too late to go to the waterfall. Lovely experience and I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
