Beautiful traditional guest house with all essential amenities, kept very clean and with wonderfully accommodating staff and owner, ready to go the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. My family and I had a wonderful stay. The family room is fantastic, with a lovely indoor terrace to accommodate active children.

Amazing hospitality and so much inside info to make your stay in Lamu special! The property is spotless and comfortable, the terrace is gorgeous and the food delicious. Situated within 500 metres of Shela Beach and 200 metres of Mnarani House in Lamu, Jua House provides accommodation with seating area. The bed and breakfast features city views and a sun terrace. Beautifully decorated and clean with an excellent, friendly, and attentive staff , great location with easy walking distance to all activities and beautiful views from the top floor. Building had generators so we still had power when power went out in the area.

Set in Lamu, 400 metres from Manda Beach, Shela Bliss offers accommodation with a private beach area, free private parking, a terrace and a shared lounge. The host was absolutely lovely and made us feel completely at home. He made sure we were comfortable at all times, and tailored city tours, boat trips and a sunset cruise for us. Definitely made our stay in Lamu and we hope to go back sometime!

With sea views, Andavelo House is located in Lamu and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar, garden, sun terrace and year-round outdoor pool. Safari was amazing, both as a guide and a host. He went over and above to help organize activities across the duration of our stay. And the cuisine was wonderful.

Featuring a swimming pool and tropical gardens, Kijani Hotel is situated on the coast of Lamu Island, along the Indian Ocean. The décor comes with natural handmade furniture, lanterns and ornaments. We loved the position being tight on the beach , the restaurant was also looking over the beach with beautiful cool breezes. The staff are all very friendly and helpful

Offering a terrace and quiet street view, Wildebeeste Lamu is situated in Lamu, 300 metres from Lamu Fort and 300 metres from Gallery Baraka. The place is big and well equipped. It's also very clean. If you are looking for air conditioning and hot water, this is not the place but honestly I didn't need them during my staying. I advice this place for solo travellers. The place is very central. You find everything you need, from historical places to markets and restaurants. Joshua, the owner of the place is a very kind person, always available and committed to improve your staying.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. Beautifully situated with excellent facilities.

This historical Arabian-style building is located in the UNESCO-listed town of Lamu. It is less than 300 metres from the seafront and 3 km from the white sandy beach. Mostly, I was totally relaxed and the longer O stayed, the more relaxed I became. It is very well maintained and beautifully renovated hotel in the middle of the old town of Luma. Great effort has been made to reduce its environmental footprint and it is very eco friendly.

He upgraded my room with no extra cost, and gave me a free tour of Lamu old town. He was also helpful during my stay for any inquiries.
